“You asked,” Daisy mumbled sarcastically, shrugging her shoulders before holding her hands up in mock defeat. “Sorry, I didn’t catch your name, by the way.”
“i said it sounded cool.” heather retorted. “heather tucker. tempo. you are?”
soldatslav:
“i would never cheat at gin - and frankly i’m offended by the suggestion,” he insists, cards visibly sticking out of the sleeves of his ratty leather jacket.
“i’m this close to speeding up time and ending this game. play all your cards.”
soldatslav:
“hi, i’m bucky. i have one arm –– is that too forward?”
“no, but i don’t remember asking.”
wiisdm:
“––i’m really quite knackered at the moment, so if you could get on with it. that’d be brilliant.”
“the marauders send their condolences.” heather was barely on the team. she wasn’t sure how she had gotten this job. “kate wants you to know that the team is there for you. she’d come herself but she’s stuck in madripoor.”
venuhm:
“alright, alright slow down. care to explain again?” “i didn’t say anything, eddie.” “i know that, now shut up. no, not you –”
her wrist twitched, heather almost speeding up time to get out of the conversation. “you got a name?”
xmoonsilk:
“A lot changed for me after Pleasant Hill. Mentally, physically.. There’s definitely been some sort of reality shift.”
“not for me, and i think that’s what i should be glad about.”
bcrtonhawk:
“Careful. I don’t remember if I put my explosive-tip arrows in that bag or not. Or was the acid tipped arrows.. Shit, I dunno.”
“i’m done dealing with white people. and humans.”
destroyrofworlds:
“They’re not actual earthquakes coming out of my hands. Technically it’s vibrations.”
it shook her armor and helmet, and heather used one hand to steady the golden dome. “don’t do that again.”
hardycat:
Felicia stood and waited for her chips to dispense from the machine, but when they got stuck she let out a groan and hit the glass. “The one time I try to pay for something.” She grumbled to herself.
Watching from underneath her golden helmet, Heather raised a hand and watched the vending machine move backwards through time. The change came out the slot and clattered to the floor. “Don’t make the same mistake twice.”
