My family has currently fallen on to hard times, so much so that my retired and disabled father has had to rejoin the work force. I don’t live at home anymore, but I try to help them out anyway that I can.  Recently, the power went out on our farm and they lost a freezer full of meat from our livestock that they were planning to sell. Hi Melanie. I was assuming I would get a face-card, since you asked specifically about a person instead of a situation around a person, and I did. However, it is reversed.

King of Cups: this shows a beaver sitting on a log throne on top of a dam. There is a clear sky behind him, and his cup is full of grass and twigs. Reversed, this card is emotionally manipulative, sulky, moody. Controlling. This could indicate a mature, loving individual who has let their emotions begin to control their life. Things are not balanced. Something is wrong. Emotional roller coaster.

For you I pulled the King of Pentacles. This shows a buffalo with a crown hanging from his horn and a pentacle under his hoof. In the backgroun there are dark clouds, but a clear patch of sky, as well. This is a good card for a relationship reading, as it usually indicates a man will be entering a lady’s life and will stay there. It may be that C is your emotional fulfillment you’ve been looking for, but do not under estimate the power of friendship. It seems he could be harboring some romantic feelings towards him, but how to get him to show those may be the real question.

I pulled the 10 of swords. In my deck there is a pigeon in the foreground impaled by a sword. In the back there are shadows of birds flying into the horizon - it is either setting or rising, the sun. The Eiffel tower can be seen as well. Tomorrow will be a blessing in disguise.

The card I pulled for you was the ace of swords, inverted. In my deck this imagery is of a panda enjoying some bamboo. There is a large rock behind him an a sword on a pedestal. There are broken bamboo pieces at his feet. In it’s reversed position, this card is pointing towards chaos, a lack of clarity. Nothing is making sense. Perhaps you have an idea of what you need to be doing, or have a choice among several things to put into action, but you can’t seem to get there. This card is encouraging you to set goals for yourself, be it in spiritual work or in the mundane. Ground yourself - there is a piece missing from the picture that you do not know of yet.
