Still, there were plenty of intrigues and mysteries surrounding izuku.
The manga ended a long time ago, but we still haven't had any answers.
Along with other things that, for me, were a little odd.
A first thing that would have deserved a closer look...
Submission quirks don't work on Izuku.
This is perfectly demonstrated in the sports tournament with Shinso. A quick reminder, he can control other people's minds if they respond to him, and they do.
Midoriya is subdued, but manages to free himself in an equally impressive fashion.
It's easy to defend this scene by saying that it was thanks to the One for All, and that Izuku had nothing to do with it. And I'll give you that.
But there was another point of emphasis, Stain.
Their quirks remain similar in the sense that they can subdue others in some way.
The green boy managed to break free of his hold not because of One for All, but because of his blood type. O.
Universal giver and receiver.
As for the other, there was no explanation.
This brings us to a whole new area, the predilections of Sir Night-Eye.
How is it that NONE of his predictions came true ? This man could literally read the future or the past of anyone he touched, and with breathtaking accuracy.
But why hadn't any of izuku's fateful predictions come true?
Had his future already been turned upside down by irreversible choices?
Or was there something inside him that repelled any power that could harm his inner self?
Because it really looked like no psychic alter was working on him.
But it does raise a few questions.
Is Izuku really immune to submissive quirks because of his genes? Or is the One for All the cause of all this? I don't think so.
All might was first and foremost a user before him, and he wasn't entitled to any of its “effects”. The power never interacted, it behaved like a normal quirk.
Incidentally, there's one thing I'd like to know.
Why was Izuku able to unlock 6 differents quirks, while All might not? They both had quirkless status, so why?
Because if you think about it, it doesn't make sense.
It doesn't make sense to have your main character, who's supposed to be quirkless, unlock a whole bunch of cheat powers.
And it's not done just because the author felt like it -_-.
Knowing that unlocking other powers is one thing, but not losing your humanity is another.
6 different quirks in one body, and Izuku hasn't changed in the slightest. Not even to drift into Near High Ends.
The only rational explanation in all this is that Dr Garaki lied to him, and that he really does have an alter, or once again, by genetics.
I'm sorry, but on this one, the screenplay trick has no right to work.
Otherwise, it's pure bullshit.
But above all, if Izuku did it, why not All might? There's no plausible reason why he couldn't have done it too.
In fact, Izuku is often compared to villains. As in this case. Shinso, in his short-lived battle with All for One, took possession of the giant villain's mind in order to manipulate him. But against all odds, Makhia broke free of his hold. This caught him off guard, as no one can escape his control except Izuku.
He said exactly, “They're the only two who resisted my brainwashing.”
Again, for Makhia, it's understandable. He's a being who's been modified by All for One and his right-hand man, and what's more, he certainly has several alters. So for him, it's easy to assume.
The effect of a submissive alter only ends if the perpetrator wants it to. Not when you, the victim, don't want to.
What's next? All for one's behavior towards Midoriya.
We went from a man who put him down in a mean way, to a man who no longer wanted to leave him with Shigaraki, and who repeatedly asked people to bring him to him.
Once to Lady nagant, and again to his own impostor Yuga.
All the while, there's a lot to be said for that.
There's a big ellipsis here, and we end up at the Battle of Kamino.
All for one possesses Ragdoll's power, which is to spot enemies from miles away and know their weak points. And the villain already knew the identity of the new All for one holder, so keep that in mind.
All for one knew full well that Momo, Shoto, Tenya, Eijiro and Izuku were behind this wall, and that's the main reason why it wasn't destroyed.
As luck would have it, all the surrounding area was swept away by a destructive force, except for the poor remaining wall, where Izuku was hiding.
And today, I doubt that this was a stroke of the script.
So we follow the storyline, Bakugo manages to escape, and the others flee.
Can't you see a problem here?
All for one let the One for All escape, without inflicting the slightest injury.
All the while knowing that he's one of the best placed to know that the One for All is a constantly evolving power, and that by letting him go like that, he'd become that much stronger, and that much harder to catch.
So explain to me why he didn't inflict any injury on this wearer with whom he has “no connection”. He could have cut off his leg or arm, or even made sure he couldn't move!
Knowing that All Might was far too busy with him, and with bakugo.
But he didn't ! He did absolutely nothing to him. Apart from throwing hurtful words at him, which sounded a lot like defensiveness, nothing physical.
What's more, if he had hurt Izuku, it would have destabilized All might even more, and he would have blamed himself to death.
Knowing that All for one, now that we know it, was certainly not someone to be gentle with his enemies.
This brings me to the second thing, Midoriya Inko.
As we now know, All for one eliminated the entire families of the One for All owners. Their children, parents, in short, everyone. Certainly to provoke despair and deep malaise in them too. To provoke an imbalance that would enable him to get his hands on power, in any case.
Now I have another question. Why didn't he kill Inko?
She may be one of my favorite characters, but let's face it, she's a very easy target.
A simple armed robber could murder her.
And yet, despite the families of the other owners he killed, he did nothing to Inko. He left her alive.
Whereas, if we follow the “they're not related” line of reasoning, All for One would have had absolutely no reason to do that. And I sincerely doubt that it was due to any slacking on his part -_-.
Let me move on to the last point, the morbid resemblance between Izuku and All for one.

If they were REALLY unrelated, why did it have to be that, out of thousands of characters, these two are the most alike?
Positions and gestures, obsession with quirks, undeniable physical resemblance. Mimics identic!
What's the point if the two really have nothing to do with each other?
The doctor Garaki, who is her childhood doctor, but also all for one's right-hand man. One of her stalkers who becomes a flying Nomu. Miraculously ignored in Kamino. And all for one who suddenly can't stop asking for him?
At this point, they should have been totally different.
With so many characters, Horikoshi could have fallen back on at least one other person. There was Yo shindo for the hair, but come on 🙄. He could even have done Izuku with blonde highlights 🤣.
I admit I haven't posted anything in a very long time, but clues for Dad for one are getting scarce, and that makes me angry.
It was impossible for me to post all the details I've seen in the fandom, but here's a tiny part of it. I've pretty much put everything I had in mind.I added a few things about Izuku because we really had zero explanations 💀.
