Vent of the day:

Thinking back, I'm not even too bothered by the Timeless Child Rlreveal as such, but still find the redestruction of Galifrey a poor decision.

I don't think it brings anything to the narrative. Especially as the point of the time war served to conflict and define the doctor. The Master destroying Galifrey is just a passive event for the Doctor.

It also robs us off any sort of stories involving Galifrey. Also other than flash backs or interactions with Time Lord's from the past and we won't see 13 hold them accountable for what they did to her.

It also just creates an unnecessary obstacle for showrunners in the future who inevitably want to bring Galifrey back. I mean could destroying the citadel not of sufficed? It's just an overall eyeroll and reductive storytelling.

I only post here sporadically, and often find using fiction to encompass a real life point can trivialise a cause.

But this speech just really amplifies what's important about being an ally by standing up and standing with those who need it . Black lives matter and trans lives matter.
