[teresaft] Sims4 - infant bodypreset

I've created 12 infant body presets to allow everyone to immerse themselves in the growth process of a baby from birth to one year old.

To ensure compatibility with the latest game version ( Thanks to @electricwhims, the posts helped me solve the problem of infant body preset), this body preset is categorized under ears. After entering CAS, click on the baby ears to see all presets. There are 13 presets in total, ranging from newborn to 11-month-old. The 12-month preset is GAME's original size. Images are included for easy selection.

Well yes! Better Babies mod is back back back again, bigger & even better! ✰

This is a game changer update of my first version of this mod i created a while ago that took us thousands of hours of hard work and it's finally here 💌

Me and incredibly talented @plumberrycc are proudly presenting you this mod, that will change your gameplay on 180° and your view on newborns!

🏷️ The last time i was so proud of myself for changing the size of the texture and improving it, this time we are going MUCH further:

ㅤ🏷️ This is not one, but two+ steps ahead from previous version of this mod! ✰

❗️First thing first, you have to download invisible crib mod, so everything works + you get invisible crib!

❗️Also, you need animations file, so you got updated better animations for newborns. ㅤㅤBecause the mesh of the baby is a part of the crib, you need to have this file in your game, it changes the baby's head to new one and as a awesome extra option we made a invisible crib default replacement of the base game one 🛠️💕

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ🏷️ If you want your newborn in invisible crib, follow the steps:

Before you sim is gives birth, find a base game crib and place it where you want. (to give you more control, there is a little white marker so you can grab it and place it whenever you want).

After your sim gives birth, the newborn will appear at invisible crib and you can place them on any custom crib or any place. ❗️NOTE❗️: not every custom crib will work with this invisible crib mod, because of the footprint tag. You need to test everything by yourself, so your sim can interact with a newborn and make sure that custom crib that you using is not doing the function of working crib, so its just a decor.

Now that you grab one of the main files, lets choose another one. We are talking about the newborn skin. Let's see:

You have 2 options to choose from: maxis match overlay or custom skin color 🎭

‼️ WARNING ‼️ Because this is an override, you can have only one custom skin\eye color or only overlay in your game at a time!

🔍 If you interested in custom skin color newborn, keep reading this section.

Q: Who might benefit from this option?

A: For those who have been playing for one family for a long time and want to choose exactly how their newborn will look. • 📈 Pros: the texture quality and color will be as detailed and bright as possible, and it will not look dull. No seams, pixels, or anything else you could see on EA default skin. • 📉 Cons: the only and most significant minus is that now every baby that will be born in the family of your sims or in any other family in the world will look the same. Because this is a default replacement. This is not an overlay, but a separate custom color. If this does not bother you, and you want to change the files in your game from time to time for a certain family - that option is for you!

We created 5 different shades + alien version (alien will be a default for all alien babies if you choose custom skin version of the file, thats how crib babies works)

Also, we created a monolid option for the shade #1 💌

ㅤNext, when you choose your custom skin color, you can choose custom eye color:

We created 3 base eye color options: blue, dark brown and green 👁️

P.S. Shade #1 with monolid is coming with extra dark brown eyes ✰

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ💞 Thats it! You pick a right file for you 💞

Lets see some more details we did for this mod: a custom 360° hair and a little bow for a girl (coming as a default, depending of who your sim will give birth to) 💌

P.S. You don’t need Nifty Knitting or Growing Together for the bow or the extra blush overlay to work — they will still appear in your game.

But if you do have these packs, you’ll get default replacements for the newborns that come with them!

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ📝 Now we are smoothly moving to maxis match overlays!

Q: Who might benefit from this option? A: Everyone who play maxis match \ maxis mix style of the game. • 📈 Pros: the baby will have skin and eye color from both parents. Each baby will be unique (maybe I went overboard with unique, but overall yes 🤣) • 📉 Cons: due to the lack of color in the overlays, babies may look pale.

❗️But this time overlays are improved! We found a way do add extra color to overlays, such as blush and lip color, so your newborns will look a little bit more....not so dull 😁

❗️NOTE❗️: As we know, the game is mixing skin colors from both of the parents and thats how your newborns appear. We had an issues with custom skin colors, they might look very strange, At this moment, we don't know how to fix that.

Before using this mod, you need to delete my old better babies mod, all files.

Before using this mod, you need to delete any default cribs that you have in your game.

Before using this mod, make sure you don't have any mods that somehow affect interactions with newborns or override cribs.

We play test this mod with base game & no any other mods, so everything works smooth.

Onesies Default Replacement for Better Babies Vol.2 by @sims3melancholic

The mod pack includes several outfits options, default replacements of the bassinets and an extra feeding bootle.

Onesies I've recreated outfits from two DLCs: Nifty Knitting (SP17) and Growing Together (EP13)

There are FOUR options avaliable for download (you only need one of them): 1) Onesies for ready-made skins; 2) Onesies for ready-made skins (+ headbow option); 3) Onesies for overlays 4) Onesies for overlays (+ headbow option)

Bassinets There are default replacements to each and every bassinet in the game. The only thing you need to do is select and download the mod files according to the DLCs you have.
