“What.…..are you?”

The words dripped with disgust.

Teristra slammed the butt of her staff down on the ground firmly, her dark lips pursed.

“I am Teristra Shadowsoul, priestess of the Sisterhood of Shadow, and I have come to put an end to your disgraceful acts, Gul’dan.”

Gul’dan’s expression froze, then it devolved into a weak grin. The old orc couldn’t help but let a chuckle drip out. Was she mad?

In a condescending manner, the warlock waved his hand at the priestess.

“Run along while you still can…

I have more important tasks to carry out than the disposing of corpses.”

“Corpses? Dead I may look, but I am not.”

Her blue eyes flashed beneath her hood. “I am not afraid of you, warlock. You will be torn apart by the Shadow for all eternity for your actions...”

Shadows began to coalesce around her, her robes rippling around her slender form.

The deathknight’s eyes glowed brightly in slight amusement, though he kept his face impassive and straight. “It seems that we are…um..a couple for now.”

She offered him a small smile, her blue eyes shining.

“Neither am I.” The deathknight returned the smile politely and offered her an arm.

“Would you like to take a stroll through the woods with me? I heard that the Strathholme lilies bloom in dozens during this time of the year.”

Teristra took his arm, smiling all the while. For half a second she could almost see that young ranger she had met so long ago, the smile on his face as Faltora made fun of how he was blushing around her.

But then that moment faded, and she saw his pale face, the smile still the same. How they had changed...yet they had found each other again, as fate decided. She could not be more grateful that he was there with her. She still loved him. She had never stopped loving him...the thought of him was the only thing that had gotten her through that awful time of imprisonment.

Teri shook her head, refusing to think of her torture. “I would love to, Koltira...” She replied, holding onto his arm. “...I guess we um...finally managed to go out with each other, huh...?”
