       Caitlin waited until the other woman had slowed down, typing a few things on her keyboard before focusing on Kate. “Well I´ll need a moment to analyse all the data,” She then nodded,

     “But that was very impressive. Was this as fast as you could go or do you think you could have gone faster?”

            “Oh, um...” Kate thought about it for a moment, “Well, that’s the fastest I’ve ever gone, I think. I felt like I might have been able to go faster, though, but I’m not sure how stable I would have been.” She tries her best to explain the nagging feeling in the back of her mind, that if she goes too fast, something not-so-great will happen to her.

“I actually can’t tell if you’re being serious right now…” Dawn was a very confused speedster babe with very little experience in the romantic department.

              “Only halfway,” Kate hums and sits back, “If you’re up for it, I certainly won’t mind.”

This was definitely something that hadn´t happened with the woman before, Caitlin could tell from her reaction and she smiled to herself, making a few notes here and there. 

“Good!” She then called back over the intercom. “You can slow down now,” She instructed.

                 Moments later, Kate had slowed to where you could actually see her now. A hard right turn at the correct second, and she was back in the center of the speed lab, panting, eyes wide with excitement,

              “So, doctor, how’d I do?” she bites her lip, eagerly awaiting a response.

   Caitlin was used to doing these kind of tests with Barry, but it was always interesting to see someone else in his position. Besides: They hadn´t done with him in a while, because they always noticed when something changed.

   Caitlin glanced at the results and statistics and back to Kate before answering through the speakers. “Only if you can,” She instructed. “Don´t overdo it.”

           With a deep breath, Kate’s speed suddenly spiked, and appeared to keep up. This was as fast as she had ever gone, and then some. It was like the entire structure of the speed-track was glowing bright green.

        “How am I doing?!” she cried excitedly.

“I wasn’t trying to upset you, you know.” Dawn replied, a crestfallen look crossing her face.

         “Hey,” Kate hugs Dawn close, “You can’t upset me, sweetie, you know that.” she presses her lips to the other woman’s forehead softly.

“Nope. Have fun, I’d say leave some for me once I get off shift, but I probably need to patrol London tonight.”

           “Well, good luck with that, then!” zooming off.

“I am a Time Master, I don’t answer to you or the speedforce. My crew is doing its best to correct what has been done to the time line, now if you would just let me do what I have been sent here to do instead of getting involved with things that are none of your business.” Instead of drawing the gun, he crossed his arms in front of his chest. “I have no intentions of using it against you, but I am going to defend myself if the need arises.”

        “The time masters are gone, in case you forgot! You people blew them up!” Kate was five seconds from tossing this guy across the room, “What, like I’d attack you? I’m pissed at you, but we’re still on the same side, thank you very much. I’m just happy you people haven’t started screwing with my Earth’s time.”

“Of course. It´s Caitlin though,” She offered the other woman a smile. It was always interesting to meet people from other Earths, especially when they weren´t out to kill them. And someone with the same powers as Barry, who wasn´t out for their lives, was something she found rather interesting. 

“Sounds familiar,” She then told her with a nod, pressing a few keys on the keyboard before she watched the other woman put on her outfit. “Alright, whenever you´re ready. And yes. I´ll be adjusting everything as we go.”

         Kate nodded, kneeling down in position as the speedforce flickered green in her eyes. The visor on her helmet suddenly snapped closed, and she was off like a shot. The green lightning flickered, the wind howling as she blasted through the track, green electricity thundering behind her. 

        “How am I doing?!” She asked through the speakers, “Should I go faster?” Her breathing had picked up, but she wasn’t quite gasping for breath yet. She could definitely go faster, but she wouldn’t last all that long if she did.

— Eo just looked down. “Honestly, I don’t have the slightest idea.” He looked at her, then back at the suit. “Kate, what if I do become like Godspeed? Or even worse?”

Without a word, he shut the door and left. “Never mind what you just saw, alright? It ain’t happening anymore. Professor Zoom is officially dead. Even if it was a pretty cool name.”

        “No, Eo wait!” Kate grabbed his arm, “Come on, don’t listen to him! You won’t be like godspeed, I know it. You’re one of the brightest and smartest men I know, Eobard, and I wouldn’t have anyone else out there but you helping me stop crime. And yeah, Professor Zoom is a pretty cool name. Because it’s the hero name of a pretty amazing guy. Now come on, let’s go see what that V11′s made of, eh?”

“You are not part of my crew and you have no authority whatsoever to question my decisions or get involved with anything that happens.” His hand was on his gun as soon as he noticed the green lightning, and he took a step back. 

          “Actually, I do. I’m a speedster, you see; and the speedforce hates it when you fuck with time. I’m pretty sure you’d all have time wraiths after you if it weren’t for the fact that none of you are speedsters.” She put her hands on her hips, “Seriously? You realize I spar with Doctor Light, right? That’s not gonna work.”

“I know that, Kate. But it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the taste, now does it?” She grinned. “Lighten up a little!”

          “I hate alcohol!” She laughed, “Especially when it’s mixed with cocoa, you dork.” she flicked her fellow speedster’s forehead.

“You know what? How about I leave and never come back?”

Eobard snapped his head towards Harrison. “Hold on, you can’t just leave?”

“Why not? Wanna snatch my body again?”

With that, Wells opened the door and slammed it. All there is, was quiet. Even Eobard couldn’t speak. “Sorry,” was the last whisper from Eo. 

             Kate let out a sigh, rushing to Eobard’s side,

          “Hey, don’t worry about him. He’ll cool off in a while.” she wrapped her arms around him in a hug, “Do you have any idea what he was going on about?”

“Yeah. I don’t really feel like ‘laying off’, Kate. Hell we don’t even know his real intentions!”

Eobard just stared on. “Wells, come on…” 

Harrison just stared on. The visions continued to swerve around as Tess was killed; Eobard disguising himself as Harrison doing…horrible acts and manipulating a team to get what he wanted. 

“No. Eobard, just no.”

        “ENOUGH!” Thunder boomed outside at Kate’s voice, “Harrison R. Wells, this man, who has nearly gotten himself killed for us, who helped us track-down and defeat Godspeed, who kept you from getting yourself killed, wants to perform an experiment on himself to see if he can help me, and you’re not just arguing with him, you’re treating him like a common thug?” She hissed; he’d really done it now, “No. You either give me proof of your claims, or you get out until your head clears. NOW.”

         “Enough, Wells,” Kate growled, “Eobard’s worked his ass off about this just as much as the rest of us. Lay. Off.”
