Shot with a Canon AE-1, 400 speed Ilford film B&W.
This is Spooky, 13 years, and Ollie, 3 months old, learning to love each other. Now they are best of buds.
Recent flea market fine was this very early (1937?) model Rollei...I couldn't wait to shoot it and I was not disappointed. I couldn't even wait to clean up the viewfinder properly, so I was suprised how nice the focus was. A pleasure to hold, this camera. Came with a case and a manual.
#29palms, #cactus, #film photography, #sunset, #desert, #rolleiflex, #120 film
Expired in 1992 fomapan b&w film through a 1930s Welmy folding camera. Scenes from Echo Park and Chinatown.
Year of the Horse festival, shot on this Yashica A. Every time I have one of these cameras, I'm surprised by how great they are. Love it.
Playing with my new toy (Mamiya RB67) in Chinatown historic park
Shot mostly on Super 8, with digital mixed in and blended with film textures. Can you tell what's what?
Video is Princess Pangolin's "Spiral Suit."
Today's pelican neck brought to you by the letter "S" backwards. At Redondo Beach pier. Shot with an old 1970s manual Vivitar lens screwed to a Nikon D70 body. This has been my favorite way to shoot lately.
The neighbor's calla lilies are blooming. Striking floral geometry. I picked up this old vivitar macro lens at an estate sale and I've been shooting it every free moment using my D70 body. Pleasantly surprised with the results I'm getting.
Taken with expire Cool and old Silver Shade impossible project film, on a Polaroid Sun 600. I love this camera! It's broken in a really nice way...shoots the picture out real slow so I have plenty of time to shade them from the light.
Polaroid time: Took some Dia de los Muertos photos down at Los Angeles' Olvera St. today. Saw everything from the macabre to the poignant on display through creativity and color. Using Impossible Project's "Cool" 600 film.
Trying out the Mamiya Sekor 35mm in Little Tokyo. Picked up this camera at a sidewalk garage sale, and it came with three lenses! This is the 135mm lens. I'm in love with the light meter in this camera. It has two modes...one that takes a general reading, and one which will take the reading from a specific point of focus. So if you're shooting in really split lighting you can choose what you want to set your meter by.
Shot on a Nikon F, 100 speed Arista 35mm B&W film. I've been doing shoot outs to decide who I love most...the Nikon, the Canon AT or the surprise contender Mamiya/Sekor. Who will win the battle of the 35mms?
I just sold this Lubitel 120 in the shop a bit ago, but now that I see the pics I took on it....I WANT IT BACK.
I've created 3 custom Pinholaroids as prizes in this kickstarter campaign. I also did the cover photography for the record (the victorian dancers in the main photo) on my dear old Yashica A medium format. Lovers of vinyl records, pop-up books and Polaroids should check it out.
Friends just brought me this camera and manual from the Czech republic. It's a tiny Kodak Brownie 127 that looks like a scaled down 620. Cute as a button.
