call me a slut for communication but I'm deeply enjoying not only the existence of open communication between dnp and the fandom in this post-hard launch era, but also the way it's being handled. a phannie can directly ask them what counts as archaeology in a livestream question, dan will intentionally pick it out because he knows there's confusion surrounding the topic, he'll discuss it super clearly and matter-of-factly with minimal jokes (though there will be some, because let's not forget who we are here) and then move on with absolutely no aura of lingering subterfuge/anything left unsaid. it's first of all helpful - moving through our fandom activities becomes so much easier as a result of this communication. but to me the quality of the communication itself is also so very enjoyable. our years-long relationship with dnp has really matured wonderfully. pat on the back for everyone involved
