a couple of weeks ago i was saying the biden administration was irredeemable because they were pushing the $15 minimum wage off until after his administration ends which is a sign that he’s not actually going to do it. i got a million comments Libsplaining to me how that’s actually how it has to be done and that i’m a dumbass who doesn’t understand how Incremental Change works. if you were one of those people i cordially invite you to suck me

& let’s remember that the fight for 15 started in 2012. It should be over $17 by now and if by some miracle it actually happens in 2025, it should be $18.50. So if they actually make it 15, it still won’t be remotely close to a living wage.

I love how nobody thinks about the fact that if wages go up so does the cost of living, that 3$ gallon of milk? Yea thats gonna be 7$, that gas you pay 2$ for? Gonna be 4$ a gallon, minimum wage hike is the worst thing possible for this country and nobody even realizes it
