Ghost Of My Ghosts, Sol Rios
ppl keep saying the internet in the 90s/2000s was trash because it was full of nonsense but atleast there were WEBSITES.... all that's left online is social media and shopping and even the social media does nothing but advertise to you you can barely play any games in browser, especially mini games now they all want you to download the game because they're all longform and 1GB or above, no ask jeeves no yahoo answers no places for kids to hang out all day apart from like. Roblox (which you have to install..... and neopets is used by 20 yr olds no kids are playing on neopets) blogs now being mostly video based instead of written, phones being ppls primary source of entertainment so you are constantly being asked to download a app, Adobe flash gone so any flash based sites are gone and not even way back machine can bring them back unless u get a flash emulator
THE INTERNET IS DEAD AND BORING!
this is going to be difficult -> i am capable of doing difficult things -> i have done everything prior to this moment -> this difficulty will soon be proof of capability
this difficulty will soon be proof of capability.

this kwame ture quote becomes relevant again, encourage reading about him and listening to his advocacy re palestine
mary oliver was right: i am here!!! i am alive on this fresh earth!!! i am standing in my kitchen waiting for my tea to boil and that alone is proof of my existence!!!!
Couldn't stop thinking about that tweet, I love the idea of a god promoting his faith.
"I have resigned as poetry editor of the New York Times Magazine. The Israeli state’s U.S.-backed war against the people of Gaza is not a war for anyone. There is no safety in it or from it, not for Israel, not for the United States or Europe, and especially not for the many Jewish people slandered by those who claim falsely to fight in their names. Its only profit is the deadly profit of oil interests and weapon manufacturers. The world, the future, our hearts—everything grows smaller and harder from it. This is not only a war of missiles and land invasions. It is the ongoing devastation of the people of Palestine, people who have resisted throughout decades of occupation, forced dislocation, deprivation, surveillance, siege, imprisonment, and torture. Because our status quo is self-expression, sometimes all artists have left is to refuse. So I refuse. I won’t write about poetry amidst the ‘reasonable’ tones of those who aim to acclimatize us to this unreasonable suffering. No more ghoulish euphemisms. No more sanitized hell-words. No more warmongering lies. If this resignation leaves a hole in the news the size of poetry, then that is the true shape of the present."
—Anne Boyer, in her resignation as poetry editor of The New York Times Magazine
i believe this as fully true like i'm not joking. 90% of all my sex experiences have been psychically damaging.

less “therapy is for everyone!” more advice on how to recognize when therapy is helping you and when it is harming you, more educating people on their rights and what they can do when their rights have been violated, more advice on navigating finding a therapist that isn’t only applicable to private practice situations
less “don’t forget to take your meds!” more sharing of studies on the effects of psychiatric medication (wanted and unwanted/positive and negative), more discussion of how to document your experiences on medications so you can understand how they are effecting you, more support for people struggling to navigate getting prescribed/using/going off of psychiatric medication
less “always reblog the suicide hotline!“ more sharing information on what happens if you do actually call one of these lines (i.e. will they send the cops to your house), more teaching individuals and communities how to help someone in crisis without involving police or hospitalization, more open discussions of how to share what we feel and make others feel seen, understood, and supported when it comes to extremely difficult feelings and situations
I was just gonna leave this in the tags until I saw this note and had to bring my tags out to agree with them
I’ve been saying this.
And we need to be allowed to say this
Problem is, some of the very pro therapy people out there will react strongly to someone saying these things, like you’re only supposed to talk about the positives or else you’re anti therapy
Which is not okay. In fact, you’re likely pushing people away who might be interested in doing it
Some people think if you’re having a problem with therapy then it’s just something on your end (that you clearly don’t want help or something like that)
You have to be willing to acknowledge the problems (like with what this post is about)
Because for some people, bad therapists have worsened things for them
lool what i been saying. umm i dont need therapy i just go to church and cry it out and feel awe and community that does it for me.
