Looking for a beta reader (kind of?) for an Akiteru/Small Giant fic

Here's a snippet, y'all:

The thing was, there was nothing that he could really say to assuage their doubts, not when he had more than enough doubts of his own; it was only that – that Tsukishima, in the end, had always been kind to him, had always spared him a shy smile whilst they practiced receives side-by-side, and when he’d felt the weight of Tsukishima’s gaze between his shoulder blades after the first set of that last game in the prefecture, he’d turned, heady with victory, to flash a triumphant grin at the tall boy in the stands. He hadn’t known that would have been the worst thing to do under the circumstances; for some reason, the knowledge that he’d captured Tsukishima’s attention beyond simple expressions of camaraderie had made him feel buoyant, weightless, as if he could outjump anyone who faced him on the other side of the court.

The fic should be below 10k and its current working title is the small giant has an incredibly embarrassing crush on akiteru but they’re both entirely oblivious and senpai’s graduating already, help; I’d quite like someone to look over what I’ve written and help identify problems with various aspects of characterisation, pacing, structure and language - why various sentences do and don’t work, whether certain jokes fall flat, if the narrative isn’t quite flowing.

But mostly it’d just be really great to talk about Akiteru/Small Giant with someone ( ´ ▽ ` ) Feel free to message me about Akiteru/Small Giant regardless of whether you’re interested in betaing, by the way!

I don't even know if the term beta reader is still used anymore... that's what all the cool kids had on fanfiction.net when I was eleven, in any case.
