Delmonico Potatoes: The Midnight Baker is a hearty and creamy potato dish that's great for any event. Thinly sliced potatoes are baked in a tasty mix of butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese until they are golden brown and soft. It's simple to make this recipe, and everyone loves it.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 cup heavy cream. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Melted butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Put half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish that has been greased. Place half of the butter and cream mix on top of the potatoes. Do it again with the rest of the potatoes and the butter and cream mixture. Place the dish in the oven and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes, until the potatoes are soft and the top is golden brown. If you want, you can add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving.
