fun fact: she is almost fully to scale (1'03 and a half feet tall compared to victinis canon height being 1'04 feet)
she was also entirely hand-sewn (she took forever :| but its fine bc shes my baby)
this include her bandanna! i was going to just use a regular one but she is So Very Small and all of them basically enveloped her whole body which was NOT what i wanted. i decided to just make it a collar-like thing which is secured with velcro (because in hindsight i actually am not sure if you could get the same effect her "canon" bandanna has with the fabric i was using. but its fine.)
oh and also!!!!!!!!! SHE GLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also. tangent. making this plushie made me realize how nice it would be to cuddle with a real victini. because. theyre small. but also you can rest your head between their bigass ears. and theyre a rabbit. so theyre soft. and a fire type so theyre also warm. i think this is a contender for best pokemon to hug.
its fronteirs anniversary today so in honor im gonna yap about one of my spirit prevo ideas, Burizamon
basically this is what i think would happen if bandai decided to man up and give kumamon a flamon. hes a very shy little buddy who prefers his own company at the peaks of cold, snowy mountains and hides in snowdrifts to avoid social interaction. hes not very good at fighting, and when stressed, he takes his big fuck you axe (named Skadi) and just starts swinging wildly (Mad Cleave)- no thoughts no prerogative just GET AWAY FROM ME IM SCARED. (as illustrated by this poorly made rushed sketch)
this means that anyone and anything-enemies, allies, fragile terrain- is fair game. speaking of Skadi, Burizamons axe is his pride and joy, and it never goes a day without being sharpened and polished. so basically, Burizamon, with its singular battle strategy being "swing wildly and hope you hit something" is very Not Good for anyone in any combative situation. well, except maybe Burizamon himself if he manages to hit anything. its a 50/50.
also he can puff up like a cat, but only his long white fur puffs so he just ends up looking like

while my computer is buns and crashed out so bad that i cannot progress past a certain point, digimon story: time stranger is absolutely breathtaking. i cant wait till the switch version is out so i can actually play past the point im at.

pokemon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky. it was one of my first pokemon games period (i got it along with pokemon diamond and pokemon white as birthday gifts), and though ive yet to beat it it holds a very special place in my heart.

probably the alola region of pokemon. specifically the ultra sun/ultra moon universe. because then theres random pokemon littering the routes that run up to you and you can play with them
also alola in general is just a gorgeous region with so many cool places to see, and the pokemon are lovely as well.
had a dream last night that the gen 10 starters' final evolutions were revealed in a nintendo direct. they didnt give their names or even their types. not even the second stages. just the designs for the final evoloutions. i remember being ticked off because they spoiled designs that i would have liked to see myself, so i skipped gequa and browts final evos, but i did see pombons. idk how to transition this, here it is.

- gingerbrave (im not in the fandom but one of my friends is and also hes a cookie, why not) and an attempted reference to Driving In My Car Right After A Beer

yesterday was marous first birthday, so i decided to draw something for it. happy birthday buddy!
things to note about this image:
that sticky hand was something he got from a halloween festival he went to. he and daima were messing with it and he accidentally shot it onto the ceiling. neither of them could be bothered to get it down so theyve just been waiting for it to fall. its been months.
a few weeks ago, marous aunt found a box of his and daimas old toys. the doll on the dresser plays a clip of laughing that they guessed was supposed to sound cute, but it always terrified both of them. daima accidentally set it off and out of pure instinct threw it away from her, and it landed on top of the dresser. neither of them want to admit to their aunt or uncle that theyre scared of it, so theyre just waiting for them to get out the step ladder to take down the christmas decorations so they can steal it and get it Out Of Their Room.
the toys under his bed are also from that box. the two of them decided that they wanted to play toys for old times sake. the puppy was a military experiment that broke free and started eating people so the military tried to neutralize it but it started eating them too. theyre under his bed because the puppys lair was in a cave, and thats the cave. obviously./silly
the car in the backyard is also pretty old, and they dont really feel like rehoming it anytime soon. whenever marou and daimas little cousins come over they play with it sometimes, but usually it just sits there.
that green jacket is his favorite. he never goes anywhere without it.
his uncle throws a new years party every year, so a bunch of relatives and family friends always come over. and since new years eve is also his birthday, and everyone collectively agrees its in poor taste to come over without getting him anything, he gets a lot of gifts. usually money, but people do make an effort to get him something they think he likes. but also he usually ends up partying all day until midnight january first. and he gets TIRED. if you want to contact him january first, you wont. honesty, expect to wait until at least the third to even hope to contact him.
his favorite animals a wolf. this is because his moms digimon partner was strabimon, and she would always tell him stories about strabimon when he was little. needless to say, he always gets a bunch of wolf stuff on his birthday.
including the little plushie draped over him. daima got him that. she got up a few hours before him and put it on him because why not. shes surprised it hasnt fallen off yet.
hes also an avid artist. that poster behind him? he drew that, and daima got it printed for him for his birthday last year.
the birthday card leaning against the green bag was also from daima. it was just a cheesy birthday card, but she taped a picture of a wolf she herself drew where the picture was because she knew it would make him smile.
aghhh tomorrows marous first christmas i gotta draw him doing holiday things rahhhhh
ok so LORE TIME- when marous fire powers went dormant he actually got really sensitive to the cold to the point where he wore a jacket all the time, even in summer, and obviously he absolutely despised the cold and would never actively go out in it unless he absolutely had to. now that he has flamon hes gotten a lot less susceptible to the cold, so hes been using this to finally be able to play in the snow with his cousin.
