i do think that the comics where peter parker is transfem and j jonah jameson are affirming of her but calling spiderwoman a menace are accurate because j jonah is absolutely the kind of guy who is performatively nice to a transfem he knows but would demonize a prominent trans woman in the media if he could benefit from it. he absolutely uses parker as a shield to deflect criticism because he cant be transphobic he has a trans employee. the problem is whether this is portrayed intentionally or by accident varies from comic to comic and author to author
