Pray. Pray and Pray again. and when you feel you have prayed enough. Begin praying again. We start too many things without praying: Relationships... Jobs... Businesses... Discussions... Marriages... Journeys... Families... and sadly for most people - EVERYTHING! Too often we are praying after these things have failed... when we should have prayed before. Prayer is the most powerful weapon a believer has for the destruction of the devils devices in our lives. Prayer is the most fluent language by which we not only speak to God, but by which He speaks to us! When we pray, we begin a two way conversation with God... our expectation of God's answer, i.e. our faith, is what opens our eyes to his response. I am convinced that there is nothing significant that ever happened in the bible or in believers lives that did not begin in a prayer... You can have all the faith you want and all the anointing you want, but if you do not pray - you activate nothing in the heavens, therefore it is not activated on earth! 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing, Colossians 4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Want forgiveness? Then forgive... God expects us to be forgivers! Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. When you chose not to forgive, you are not only going against God's expectation of us - who ourselves were forgiven much - but we are in fact suffering all OVER AGAIN after the offence because we do not let it go and allow healing to take place. Remember, we live in a world where there is no shortage of people around you that will gladly encourage you to destroy relationships because working on them is too hard… STAY CLEAR from such. Child of God, this is another way to look at your trials for what they are... the most effective path to your promise. John 6:16-21 16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, 17 got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. 18 The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. 19 When they had rowed about three or four miles,[a] they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” 21 Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. Pay attention to v21: as soon as Jesus entered the boat they were miraculously at their destination. Remember...the Lord said: John 16:33 "...In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” But take heart as in the scripture above from John, Jesus has overcome the world. That means no matter how bad the situation, It has a solution and a purpose in Christ. And that outcome will be to your favour in terms of your salvation and your purpose in life. So take courage... it shall come to pass: Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.
