Deidara had barged into Sasori's class while he was grading. Not expecting to see his old lover standing in the doorway, Sasori was shocked. His old lover looked upset, pissed if you will, like he was about to explode. Telling his class to continue working, Sasori went into the hallway, closing his classroom door behind him.
"Why are you here?" He asked the blond.
"You haven't been there like you said you would be, un. You don't know how hard it is doing this all by myself!"
The redhead motioned for the blond to go with him, both exiting the school so the latter can shout.
"It's been busy here, I can't exactly leave to visit you."
"That's no excuse, Sasori! You got me pregnant then left me alone across the damn country, un! I've been raising our child all alone, something you said you'd help with when I contacted you about it!"
"I know, I'm sorry. The company and the school has been on my back about a lot of stuff, I couldn't leave because they kept making me do knew things after I finished old things."
"Sasori, do you not want our child?"
"Of course I want our child, everything has just been hectic." Sasori placed his hand on Deidara's arm.
"Yes, I'll visit. This weekend I'll fly out and visit, alright?" He cupped the blond's face in his hands.
"Alright, but are you sure you'll fly out?"
"Yes, I will fly out. Now, fly back home and I'll see you late Friday or early Saturday."
Sasori connected his and Deidara's lips for a short moment and then pulled away. He watched the blond walk to the Uber he took and get in, then watched as it drive off.
That weekend, Deidara waited and waited for Sasori to show up. He never did, like all the other times. The two would arrange for him to visit, yet he'd never show up. The blond had thought showing up where Sasori worked would finally get him to visit him and their child, but it hadn't.
Sasori didn't care, and he believed he would never care.
