So I know this is a late post about the Last Jedi, but I bet when Luke became a Force Ghost and as he was about to meet everyone else he just hears a bunch of yelling because WHEN DID YODA GET THE ABILITY TO USE LIGHTNING especially as a Force Ghost.

The only thing I feel like my parents owe me is time for me to enjoy my hobbies. Apparently that’s too much to ask for.
One time I pissed off my Dad cause I preferred to attend a going away for my best friend leaving to boot camp instead of going down to my family’s small convenient store to help out. I told him I could do it tomorrow, but he said I don’t appreciate everything he and my Mom have done for me then proceeded threaten about breaking the Xbox One.
I really didnt care about the Xbox because according to my parents: “If you didn’t buy it means it’s not yours.” So he’d technically be breaking something my Uncle bought for my brothers and I as a Christmas present. He picked it up and the $100 dollar external hard drive I bought with my hard earned cash disconnected, dropped and hit the floor.
After realizing his attempts to sway me didn’t work, he put the Box down then left to the family store. I checked the hard drive cause it was technically mine and as I thought it was broken.
I called my Dad to tell him he broke it when he picked it up and he blamed me for his actions. “If you weren’t lazy and cared about this family then I wouldn’t have done that.” I was sad, but more sad for my little brother cause I digitally bought him the games he wanted for Christmas and they were on the external hard drive.
Later on that night after the going away party, I got home first and explained to my little brother what happened (well I technically lied by saying that I accidentally dropped the hard drive when I was the dust of it). He was a bit sad, but knew I’d get a new one. It really hurt as an older brother to see him sad so when he went to bed, I started deleting the games I mostly played and reinstalling the ones he did on the internal drive.
My parents came home from the family store and saw what I was doing. Lemme tell you that I never thought I’d see my parents cheer and holler at the fact that one of them broke something that belonged to me. Legit they came in and asked, “Is it still broken?” When I answered they went, “Wahoo now you won’t waste anymore time on that stupid thing.”
And that’s not the worst part. I explained to my dad that according to the “his rules” he broke something of mine so the general thing to do would be to either replace it entirely or give me half the money to pay for it. I was gonna even ask for less than half cause I was the one going to buy it.
But guess what? He repeated the same thing he said on the phone then gave me a lecture about what it means to be a family and I should think about my actions and priorities.
Cried myself to sleep cause I didn’t think my parents would act like that. And I even went to the family store the following day cause I told them I would.
My family contains the type of people that believe that a college degree can get you a better job. In some cases it can, but in most cases it doesn’t.
I have a job, I make minimum wage for now, and all I want in my life is my own place to call home, decent WiFi and time to enjoy the things I love to do aka my hobbies. Nothing big nothing fancy.
But I can’t tell my family that cause they’ll look down on me and think I have no motivation and that it is such a lazy way to live. Apparently being boring is a no go in my family...
Hey I feel for all of us who had parents use the “tough love” method as a way to encourage and motivate you to change, but it back fires and they blame you for being a bad kid.
When I was 12 my parents banned me from playing video games till I agreed to do at least an hour a day on the tread mill. Not so bad right? Well not when your parents are watching you and saying things like, “You have to go fast if you wanna lose all that fat. Stop walking if you’re tired, the workout would be wasted if you do that.” And when I cried how I didn’t like the way they were “coaching” me, they’re response was, “I’m only doing this cause I care.”
The problem with parents who are confident in everything they do is that they don’t understand mental illness. And when you explain it to them and they say, “Oh I’ve been through that before. Just think about something positive or find some hobbies.”
Like no Mom and Dad, you haven’t been through it before because you wouldn’t just say something generic like that. Also I can’t think about something positive or anything related to my hobbies which include reading online books, writing stories or playing video games cause you both called them a waste of time and childish.
Can anyone relate?
Teach your kids to respect those who respect them. Cause I’m tired of the “respect your elders” shit. It ain’t fair that they can get away with the things they do and expect us to still respect them.
I was friends with a guy in high school who had an entire family hate him. Why you ask?
Cause he asked our friend’s girlfriend for nudes when they were Skyping for a project. What made it worse is that he blamed it on his hormones and thinks that since he apologized for it that they should be friends again.
That happened 6 years ago and his still trying to be their friend.
I was a “Nice Guy” back in High School and I thought the things I did were fucked up. The worst thing I did to my crush was ignore her when she complimented on my suit for Junior Prom, but I met a guy in College who got pissed off when the girl he had a crush on didn’t like the song he wrote for her.
To clarify the song contained very sexual lyrics along with his fantasies and that would make most people uncomfortable. In the end he wrote another song about her that contained a lot of hate and sexual anger.
Like I’m an asshole who learns from his mistakes, but that guy is a fucking dick.
Acknowledgement
I am a man who acknowledges that all men aren’t the same, but I also acknowledge that there are many men who do things to women that makes them weary of us. If you are the same as me and many others then you’ll do your best to make sure that the women you interact with don’t fear you in anyway due to the actions of many men not being able to control themselves.

My dash is filled with so much Freezerburn. I mean that's cool that your ship is getting some screen time, but please don't forget these girls haven't seen each other in a while and Weiss last saw Yang missing a limb on the floor and unconscious. Of course they miss each other and all that cause they were teammates who went through a ton of crap so it's expected to have an emotional reunion and have the feeling that some things may still not be normal.
Besides the situation they found themselves in. One was kidnapped by her friend's Mom only to be rescued by surprise by said Friend. While the other sought out her Mom to find her sister and accidentally rescued her friend that was captured by her Mom. I think that is the normalest thing that happened since the night Beacon fell.
Anyway, like I said I'm don't ship anyone together and I don't mind all the shippers shipping their ships, but please remember that not every emotional interaction between people means that they will fall in love with each other. Sometimes people are good for each other not good to be with each other.
