Moved this summer, twice

Changed medications and lost access to my therapist bc of an insurance change

Adopted kittens

Got Lyme disease AND anaplasmosis and half my face became paralyzed as a side effect (better now but ooof)

i can’t get over frank’s body language in this scene. that utter look of what’s going on, the instinctive step back when she reaches for him. when was he last approached this way, touched by someone who genuinely cares? he doesn’t know what to do and that freezes him there, until you see something break down inside of him - eyes closing, face pressing carefully into her shoulder, the hand sliding over her back as they sway. pulling her closer, if only for a moment before they have to part again (and maybe he doesn’t know how to do that either, which is why she’s the first one to step away).

Okay so I've seen the outsiders mentioned in harringrove posts a few times and I don't get it, where did it came from?

The Outsiders? I think it’s just a popular choice for a favorite book of Billy’s as a head canon and the movie came out in 1983. It gets mentioned a lot as a cultural reference point is all- so seeing the little promotional thing on the counter at Family Video was kinda cool.

Maybe they don’t teach it anymore, but back in the 90s it was taught in English Lit, at least at my school. So some of us Tumblr Olds might know it because of that in particular. (Duffer Bros are mid thirties so maybe them too?)
