This will be my last Pitt post until season 3! There were a couple asks that I didn't end up awnsering, just because I ran out of ideas for them etc.
Some accidental misgendering
Also a bit of Ogalvie slander bc I feel like he would say being Trans is a choice
You hadn't really meant to keep it a secret
But you'd only started to figure yourself out a couple weeks before Emery and Jack asked you out
And at that point, you were practically paralyzed with the fear that it would ruin this fresh relationship
But then one month of secret keeping became two, and two became a year, and now you were a year ans a half into a committed relationship, and you still hadn't admitted that you weren't quite sure who you were
You didn't know, but Emery and Jack had begun to take notice
They would notice how you shied away from mirrors, and from their hands during sex
How you never wore tighter dresses even though you constantly said you were jealous of how Emery looked in hers
How the one time you tried on lingerie you were so uncomfortable with how your chest was pushed up and your hips were highlighted that you had to tug them off and climb under the covers
They noticed, and they didn't like it
At first they thought that you were just insecure, no matter how beautiful you were
But then they noticed how it was always your feminine traits that brought you distress
They weren't exactly sure how to approach it with you
They tried to start using gender neutral pronouns with you, calling you their partner rather than their girlfriend
Once you do gather up the courage to come out to them they embrace you with open arms
Jack reassures you that he likes men and women, and they he'll still love you just as much as Emery
Emery assures you that she wouldn't see you as a fake man because of your parts
You all spend a day in bed cuddling and figuring out logistics
You decide to settle down with eachother before coming out to your other coworkers so that they'd be able to have your back completely
They go online and find you binders and tape
Emery organizes a day for the three of you to buy you a ton of boys clothes
In the meantime Jack lends you some of his boxy shirts
When you do come out to the rest of the Pitt all questions go through them
All rude questions (Ogalvie) are met with bed pan cleaning
They want you to be able to relax through the process and let them handle the difficult parts
The first time you are co.fortable having sex after you come out to them, they spend the whole time affirming your gender

The posts that center around you and Max, although few and far in-between are incredibly gender affirming

The side eye people receive when they misgender you is STRONG
Alex will always jump to hyper-masculinizing you when talking to them
There are multiple articles where she just starts insulting the journalist because they asked what it was like to be dating both a man and a Trans man
If charles is in the media pen and it is brought up he will just walk away
If he's in the middle of a press conference he'll just start to rant about how much he loves you
They have a list of all journalists that are blacklisted to them
Whenever they then get questions about why they won't answer questions about you they organize an interview to brag about how great and hot their boyfriend is

Alex had to be told by Williams that instead of responding to comments he needs to just stop talking to the trasphobic reporters
For a while he was getting too fiesta for their tastes

Alex was once asked what it was like to date two girls at once (gross q anyway 😭) and he outright turned around and started talking to George about the weather
George got really into the convo so the interviewer really missed out
Lily has single handedly trained every golf journalist to respect your name or she'll shit on theirs
Every once in a while a new one comes in and the chewing out they get for mistreating you goes viral every time

Carlos + Rabecca
Carlos acts like every misgendering is an honest mistake
He knows it's mostly not, but he likes patronizing them because they can't even get a simple pronoun right
There are compilations of him eating up reporters by asking them if they passed elementary english/spanish
You and Rebecca love watching these back
He finds ut a little embarrassing, but he's glad that he can turn a misgendering into something that can make you happy
If a journalist outright hate crimes you he gets pissed though
He's generally pretty happy go lucky, but you insult one of the loves of his life? No. You're done

Blue collar work was not for the clumsy
Which you already could've told anyone but you feel especially qualified after a newbie shot a nail through your thumb while you held the wood he was meant to be stapling in place
Most injuries you would try to walk off but the nail that was sticking out of your thumb did suggest a hospital visit
Besides, you still had one working had to drive yourself there, and your sweet boyfriend was one shift!
When you get there you get brought back pretty fast, and frank instantly gets notified that you've come in
As they're looking at a treatment plan, he comes rushing in and starts kissing you all over trying to make sure you're ok
Needless to say, after your amputation (I'm not a doctor but I imagine a nail going straight through your thumb would be too hard to reconstruct) he is right by your side
He joins you in cursing out the newbie who did it, and helicopter monitors your hand as you recover
He does also always blush when you manage to crack jokes about still being able to give him hand jobs and finger him

You come in during day shift, and Jack only finds out from Robby calling him
When he hears the words 'major brain trauma' and '20 ft fall' his mind turns off
On the car ride to the hospital he's just running through the worst things that could have happened
He remembers brain injuries from when he was active, and losing his wife
He's absolutely terrified when he comes into the hospital
Eventually he's let to see you, and the was he holds your hand and caresses your face is off-putting to robby, who's only ever seen him on his A game
When you do wake up he's with you every step of the way
He's stopped doing swat raids so that he can be home with you, and he has shen covering more of his shifts
He's helping you with every lapse in memory, and every issue with a motor function
Samira Mohan
Samira really doesn't like that you work construction
She comes across videos of bad injuries on similar sites to the ones you work on and they give her nightmares
But none of those compare to when she saw you on a gurney being wheeled in by emts, who were talking about a 30 ft drop
She ends up sitting down in the nursing station while they work on you, because every time she looks at the trauma bay, her breathing speeds up again
She's thrown into another panic attack by her fear, and without you there to calm her down, she feels so lost
Once they tell her they've stabilized you she needs Dana to help her walk in
She ends up sobbing on your chest while they tell her you coded multiple times
She stays at the hospital every night until you wake up and force her to go home and sleep in a real bed
You end up paralyzed, and she's there every step of the way, even when you tease her that she got her wish, you were closer to the ground now
Brendon Park
You're the only one who hoes through DND on Brendon's phone
But it wasn't you who called about being on your way to the hospital, it was your coworker
So the was Brendon found out was by coming down to the pitt for a 'serious consult' and seeing you laying on the bed, arm almost cut in half
He tried to maintain proffesionalism, but he was shaking as he did his exam
When he made the decision to amputate he almost cried
He made his fourth year res do the surgery, even if he would trust himself, he just couldn't make his hands stop shaking
He called in the night attending early and spent the next hour wondering how your surgery was going
He was the first in your room when you got out
He examines the stitches his resident did carefully, and notes every single thing that could possibly go wrong
He's with you every step of they way in recovery
Managing cleaning, finding a new job, getting around the house
I know I said my next post would be late but I promise I didn't mean this late :(

so my idea this time is that reader is a trans guy who is still saving up for top surgery so in the mean time he binds with trans tape. the only problem is that it leaves red marks and residue on his skin when he takes it off himself(mostly bc his inpacient and kinda self destructive and cant afford better tape and wont give himself rest breaks).
when jack and emery learn of this they insist on helping him. they have to coax him into it like a wounded shelter dog but eventually he lets them run him a hot bath and gently peal off the tape, gently scrubbing at his skin with their nails and soap to get the sticky off (or however is best to take off trans tape, maybe ive been doing it all wrong lol), gently washing him with all four hands (and maybe a bit of kissing and calling him puppy), drying him off, dressing him in comfy clothes(baggy soft pants, boxers, soft socks, and his dysphoria hoodie) and cuddling him in bed or on the couch while they watch tv, always reminding him that he needs to take care of himself and calling him gender afferming things like handsome and talking about him to eachother around him to make him hear them call him 'he', etc.
in my mind hes on the opposite shift (like in the other fics) and reader just got off his shift so emery and jack call in saying they need someone to cover their shifts tonight while they take care of him (and reader is baffled that not just one but two people would prioritize him over work)

When you severely over do it, they bandage your blisters with hydrocolloid tape, and scold you while holding you closely in their arms
When you have joint days off lined up they always try to plan things within their apartment so that you'll be comfortable unbinding
They'll make popcorn, and pull out the fluffy and weighted blanket, and shove the hoodie that fits just right, and the sweatpants that make you really feel like a man at you, and hold you close
They pull the blanket over your chest so that you don't have to even look at it, and can be submerged in comfort
Whenever they can give you 24 hours to un-bind (guys I'm a comedy genius) they will take the opportunity
When you're dysphoric, if you can tape or not, they'll pull you under the covers, put you in their clothes
Watch comfort movies they've seen 1000 times before but they'll never tire of them because they make you happy
If that won't work though, one of their greatest most effective remedies, is sex
Emery will be between your legs sucking or jerking you off
Jack is kissing you up and down and burying his nose in your armpit, moaning how much he loves you
When you come they cuddle you close, and mutter in your ears how much they love you, their precious boyfriend
