This spray does not look like anything I've tried before. I bought at least a dozen texturizing sprays and each and every one of them was sticky or stiff and made my hair look dirty and matted. They also had a matte finish, which I hate. This spray is a texturizing part, volumizing part and flexible part hair spray. However, it is not sticky or rigid at all. I use it on clean hair, which is very slippery and does not have a curl, as well as second or third day braids. I roll my hair as usual and then, when the curls have cooled completely, I gently slide my fingers to loosen the curls so they look more like waves. Then spray a few Dirty Spray spritzes on each side and on the back. This gives my waves that beach texture and parting that is so fashionable at the moment.
