Since it's StephCass week, I wanted to share one of my fav StephCass moments, from Batgirls #16. Cass' promise to never abandon Steph hits so hard when thinking about their relationship in Batgirl (2000). They have so many good moments it's easy to forget one of the longest running threads in their relationship: Steph leaving Cass, and Cass letting her go.

From Batgirl (2000) #28, #38, #53, #54. It all leads to their final confrontation in #55:

Before she can give chase, Cass gets called away by Batman. Though rooftop tag is a cute tradition between them, in reality Cass never chases after Steph, not once; this final time, letting Steph go results in her death. Of course it's not Cass' fault, as much as it's not Steph's, but she probably does blame herself in some capacity.

Which is why that moment in Batgirls #16 is so moving. For two people who have been torn apart time and time again, sometimes by external forces, sometimes of their own volition - for someone like Cass, who spent most of her life without someone to come home to - finding someone who stays, who fights to stay, is incredibly special. They won't leave each other alone. They never will.

Disney UniBearsity Bears: Like Father, Like Son:)

With the homework given by Professor von Drake concerning bears, Mickey and friends decided to go with Minnie’s idea and started making stuffed Bears.

Goofy also bought a ton of cloth and a ton of cotton, and for called Max so they can make matching Bears.

But Max answered and said, that he had already decided the color of his Bear, and it’s not the same as Dad’s.

And with that, Max went off to buy the materials for stuffed toys on his skateboard.

(Not the same as Dad’s…)

Both Goofy and Max, hiding in their rooms, gave their all to make the Bears. At last they were done!

Goofy named his “Scone”, and Max named his “Rusk”. Then they saw each other’s Bears.

Seeing Rusk, Goofy realized he was really adorable! Aside from the different coloring, it looked just like Dad’s. This made him a little less lonely.

The Bear I made, it’s with this color! Max said as he brought out another Bear and placed it between Scone and Rusk.

It was the “Teddy Bear” from when Max was little, when Goofy dressed up with Santa Claus and gave him it as a Christmas present!

Seeing how Max treasured Teddy Bear throughout all this years until now, Goofy was extremely moved!

Max! Goofy called and hugged his beloved Max. Max gave an exasperated smile for having a Dad like this.

It seems for Scone, Rusk is also his beloved one.

i don’t think you all have the severity of this situation. This mother personally reached out to me, telling me there are no words to describe her child’s suffering. It genuinely fills me with rage that from all my thousands of followers almost none of you find yourself willing to lend money to their cause. These are people you get than me, a family that has lost everyone in their family other than themselves.

I know I’m a silly creator, it’s a funny persona I put on but I can’t put on that mask with this.

She tells me that life exhausts her. That she is hopeless to the suffering of her four children. How can you have a blind eye to that? To another person, to someone’s mother, to someone’s baby.
