I don't know if this look will stick, but I think it turned out really fun. She's like a fashionista, bounty hunter, and showgirl, all at once. :3

GAMECHANGERS
Commission for @hownaughtea of my character Meilyn!
instant loss 2koma themed ttrpg
Ok, so:
I'll Never Lose to ○○○○!!
「絶対○○○なんかに負けたりしない!!」
A game for 2+ players
Play Materials:
A coin
Some note cards or blank paper, if you wish
At least one weird friend to play with
Game Setup:
As a group, decide on a general setting and brainstorm a group of HERO characters (one per player) who are:
strong
attractive
confident
and certain they will absolutely never, ever be defeated.
Scenario Setup:
Choose one player to be the HERO of the scenario, who will overcome any ADVERSARY in their path in an INSTANT.
If multiple players wish for the role first, choose the one who has mostly recently read a thematically appropriate comic.
The player to their right will be the first ADVERSARY, who will ensure the HERO faces a devastating LOSS and is defeated utterly. Decide on the nature of this adversary (human opponent, monster, environmental hazard, stressful situation, etc.) at this time.
The remaining players, if any, form the PANEL. Their role is to provide other setting information, provide appropriate background chatter, toss ideas at the HERO/ADVERSARY, and otherwise fill in other aspects of the scenario.
Play Procedure:
The ADVERSARY outlines a scenario where they and the HERO come into conflict. They may end this description with an in-character statement of their intent to defeat the HERO, if they wish.
The HERO responds with a statement that they would never lose to such a thing, and flips a coin.
If Heads: The HERO wins! Describe how they easily overcome this obstacle. Looks like it was the ADVERSARY's loss this time! The ADVERSARY role moves to the next player to the right (with the exception of the HERO's player), and play procedure begins from the start, the HERO's adventure continuing.
If Tails: The HERO suffers an instant loss! The scene continues briefly, but the ADVERSARY player can at any time, even mid sentence, declare the fight over. At this point, no matter the nature of the conflict or any advantage the HERO may have, the scene cuts to their defeat and submission. The nature of this defeat is decided by the group. An obvious option should already be present. Describe this in as much or as little detail as the play group is comfortable with. I won't judge. Plap plap plap, etc.
Upon instant loss, the scenario concludes and the player to the right of the fallen HERO becomes the new HERO. Begin again from the first line of Scenario Setup.
Play ends when each player's HERO character has tasted defeat, or when the group decides they are bored.
Rules Variants:
The group shares one rotating HERO character, who suffers a series of humiliating defeats but keeps moving forward rather than submitting entirely upon loss.
Multiple players take the role of HERO and/or ADVERSARY. In this case, the coin flip is still all or nothing: Either all HEROES defeat all ADVERSARIES effortlessly, or all HEROES are destroy and punished for their hubris in an instant.
One player takes the role of both HERO and ADVERSARY. Feel free to get extra weird now that you're alone.
Roll a die rather than flipping a coin, if you want to weigh the odds of success to favor the HERO or ADVERSARY. If you wish for the HERO to be more likely to fail, consider combining this with the shared HERO character variant, to have a HERO who fails continuously but manages to win on occasion. Before being defeated again, of course.
The HERO is allowed to succeed without facing further ADVERSARIES under some circumstances. Don't do this one. Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
