yes, 100%. she fully believes she's the most beautiful woman on earth and her energy is portrayed as infectious to the people around her. there's a man who assumes she's joking when she calls herself pretty and calls her crazy when she says she's just being honest, and it comes off as extremely cruel and mean. she later wonders if he just has a thing for putting down beautiful women, she can not comprehend that the people around her are not just as infatuated with her appearance as she is, because she's right

Last night I sobbed so hard because my chameleon Ophelia had a prolapsed bowel, and she reached for me and sat on my hands and just. Stayed there, no climbing. She knew something was wrong, and she was asking for help

Thankfully we have a vet nearby who specializes in exotic pets and was able squeeze her in for an emergency visit. I nearly bawled when they brought her back from her successful surgery. She was right, I did help her, she was right to trust me

But my girl comes to the front of the cage when I get home from work so I can let her out and she climbs on my hands because she trusts me and she knows I give her good things. Her colors brighten when she sees me. She knows that if she comes to a certain branch on her tree I'll give her leaves and she eats out of my hand

When she was injured she didn't hide, she came to me and sat in my hands

Chameleons don't pack-bond but she trusts me, and for a reptile I think that's love
