Waiting for dinner at a restaurant after a fun day by the lake, swimming and playing. He was so hungry his tummy hurt, so when his food finally arrived he ate really fast and couldn’t finish it. I asked him what he loves most about summer and he said: “I love that it is warm almost all the time. I’m letting my hair grow because I want an afro, even though it will be really hot. But right now I think my hair looks like noodles”.
