“It looks like that’s all there is to do here.” There didn’t seem to be anything else there, she couldn’t hear the tell tale signs of animals or even general atmosphere. It was just creaking and old and looming. She hesitated, but followed him and took the seat with ease. “What kind of tea?”

This wasn’t the first time a knife had been put to her throat and it would hardly be the last. The big question was why. She remembered his face from some FBI Most Wanted list. Dean Winchester, but he was inconsequential to her. His brother was also on that list. Eidetic memory came in handy sometimes. Her eyes slid to the side and she heard the crunch of gravel underfoot. Likely him.
She could take both.
A little quirk to her brow and a twist in her foot, a shift of her shoulder and a jerk of her elbow, she had his forearm in her grip--flipping him over onto the ground with his knife in her hand. A thin cut tracing across her throat, it was already scabbing over. She flipped the hunting knife over in her hands and heard the click of the safety of a gun, then threw the knife into the ground. Only the handle sticking out of the gravel.
“What do you want?” If their reason was good enough, she’d let both walk away from her alive. And perhaps see if either wanted a tip or two on how to take someone hostage at knife point.

“I appreciate your assistance, Belova.” What else was she supposed to say? Whatever alliance they had was temporary and being indebted to the blonde didn’t sit well with her. But there wasn’t much she could do about it in that moment. For now, their interests aligned. She clapped a hand on the younger woman’s shoulder before slipping away, disappearing into the crowd without a moment’s hesitation.
