my headphones accidentally disconnected from Bluetooth on the bus when I was listening to a true crime podcast where a woman murdered 7 of her children and people on the bus gave me a Look so

Headcanon that Jake listens to true crime podcasts out loud when he does chores around the house

Just puts it on his phone and connects to the speakers and carries on whatever he needs to do while listening to some of the most horrifying and gruesome crimes recollections while he hummus and sways doing whatever he's doing

It takes Bradley some getting used to but the first few times he's walked in on Jake tidying up the mess Bradley made in their bedroom and heard "And after stabbing her husband 9 times, she decided to use the turkey knife to dismember his body--" or came back home after he forgot to get groceries on the way to Jake listening to what appears to be a man murdering his wife and 2 children because the wife forgot to make dinner one night -- you know, Bradley might or might not have slept with one eye open on those nights...

Now Bradley loves it when unsuspecting friends or family come by unannounced and have the pleasure of hearing Jake doing stuff around the house while he listens to how someone murdered their parents and kept them in a closed for 5 months or something
