Peril and Clay, Queen Scarlet, Qibli, Kinkajou
Reference sheet for Mona and Lucien. They are an egg twin sibling pair that used to be cliquemates with Sunbeam and Viola.
Clique relationships among kee aren't sexual, and aren't really romantic in a human way. They are more of a strongly bonded group that cooperate to raise eggs and share resources. Usually cliques are made up of egg twin pairs, selecting for clique forming behavior by cooperating in raising their siblings offspring.
They're on artfight HERE
Two more kee characters. They've existed in my worldbuilding for a while but I have been more recently exploring them in more detail.
These are Lucien (left) and Mona (right). Their names in Z'shi//--'ee are Ah'oo'har//--'weit'-- (roughly translates as "star") and Ah'oo'har//hu'tt'sd (roughly translates as "Moon") respectively.
They are ex-cliquemates of Sunbeam and Viola and don't have much correspondence with them anymore. Lucien is adamant about maintaining distance while Mona feels deeply uncomfortable about the whole thing
They are both of proximal kee ancestry and have partial melanism. This is relatively common in proximal kee populations and causes their dark top countershading to be dark grey instead of the more common teal.

I'm loving Dungeon Meshi's mix of quasi-probable speculative magical biology and "It's magic fuck you."
Red dragons swallow their prey whole and use the undigestible remains as fuel for their fire breath, which is lit by creating a spark with their tongue. Living armors are colonies of mollusks who expand and contract to mimic muscle movement. Actually "man-eating" plants is a misnomer, they catch small animals with a filament that retracts when touched and they use their decomposing prey as compost.
These mushrooms can turn you into a gnome. It's magic fuck you.
Sometimes a comic is born purely because you wanted to draw a ferocious battle between two ancient dragons!

I extrapolated a little bit and went way more buggy. I love bugs after all!
Millennia ago, through magical wish or error, horses were given bird wings and told to fly. Their heavy, horse bodies and simple wings only allowed lift to climb steep hills, but as they continued to adapt, a new niche opened: the sky.

Art Fight attack on @onecherrypotato's Fugji! -dips him in peanut butter-
Teehee we all came because of the High Geologist and stayed for the great art! Any chances you'll feel like doing some more of those adorable botanical critters? Love ya!
I’m actually constantly doing those as part of my independent thesis work! (currently tagged as Rise, which is the working title until i get a better one)
here’s mushyman based on these guys I found in the middle of the city and laid down on the sidewalk to get pictures of
I injured my feet really bad for a couple weeks and couldn’t go hiking but now I’m back at it and can do more photography!
My philosophy for nature photography btw is “the buttcrack factor”
If your buttcrack isn’t showing, you’re doing it wrong.
But this is an art blog not a photography blog aha
Some big boy
Why is the newborn dragon you drew recently so grotesque?
it was actually a commission! I offer creature combos where people pick what animals to mash and then leave all the details to me.
The Scungle was because someone asked me to combine "dragon" and "baby pigeon" and wanted it to be pathetic. Baby pigeons really do look like that!
