#I know grrm is a grumpy old man who is precious with his characters but like…. how is he not loving this shit #hotd’s characters read like they are from the books. not the characters they are in f&b but like they textually fit with the world of the #main series in a way that the more faithfully adapted characters in got never did #like there are so many ideas in HOTD that are plucked straight from the books. extrapolated from what’s in the books.#I am genuinely sad that grrm doesn’t like the show because wow… it is so good #hotd

#I rewatched all of skam in like 4 days to feel something…. the blueprint fr…#also ranking might as well : s3 s4 s1 s2 #BUT s3/4 are very close and s1/2 are very far apart. because. i need to speak my truth. season 2 is bloated and not a cohesive narrative.#which is partly why I prefer s3 ever so slightly to s4. because I think at times all the other seasons can spin their wheels a bit. but #s3 is the perfect length - no plot it introduces overstays its welcome and everything leads into the next so well #heated rivalry #skam
