Any headcanons for how Taran would interact with some of the One Saturday Morning and Disney Afternoon characters? I could see him being a big brother figure for T.J. and Tino, could definitely see him being friends with the Pepper Ann cast, and I can also see him getting along decently with the cast of Filmore! I also see Taran being a big brother figure for Cavin [Adventures Of The Gummi Bears] especially considering how similar the two are.

Sure, I can think of a few!

-Taran considers himself to be best friends with Doug, He appreciates Doug's sensitive and grounding nature and how it reminds him of Eilonwy a bit. Sometimes, he'll take Doug to hang out with him, Gurgi, and Eilonwy.

-Taran also REALLY gets along well with the Talespin cast. Kit Cloudkicker in particular is another person he considers to be a good friend. Kit is the one that has been teaching Taran about planes and how they operate.

-Taran was the one who introduced Honker and Gosalyn to T.J and Tino, and now, both the groups get along swell. While Taran is glad that they all get along, he regrets it occasionally as they often drag him into participating in their schemes/adventures.

-Taran finds the premise of 'Teacher's Pet' a little strange, but he generally gets along with the cast. That being said, they are definitely the group he is the LEAST closest to in the One Saturday Morning and Disney Afternoon groups.

-Taran himself generally does his best to get along with both the One Saturday Morning and Disney Afternoon Groups. However, he has a lot of trouble getting along with the Proud Family's supporting cast, ESPECIALLY Dijonay, who he feels take advantage of Penny constantly. He's been teaching Penny how to slowly reclaim her boundaries and saying "no" to things better.

I think Atlantis had also inspiration from Miyazakis Castle in the Sky:

Both places having a similar skyline and a big, blue power crystal (Heart of Atlantis and Power of Laputa)

Both housing magitek robots, which defend the cities during an assault (the Stone Guardians and Laputas robots)

Both locations having a writing system unknown to the surface people (Atlantean and the Laputa glyphs)

In both cases, only Royals are able to channel the Heart Crystals power

Both are tied to a biblical event (Atlantis to the Great Flood; Laputa to Sodom and Gomorrah)

Taran and Peter Pan are VERY close [helps that they have a lot of similarities and enjoy pranking and adventuring] and consider each other as brothers despite not being biologically related. Taran will often take the blame for Peter if an adventure or prank goes wrong, with Peter often trying to make things up to Taran afterwards. Eventually Peter decides this isn't fair and starts taking responsibility so that Taran doesn't face consequences for Peter's mistakes.

Mickey Mouse Headcanons

MICKEY! I love this little dude so much! But like Bugs though he has ISSUES.

-He's basically everything that he says he is. A pure beacon of hope, kindness, and warmth. So many Toons look up to him as the example of what it means to be a Toon.

-However, for as many lovers he has....he also has several haters amongst Toonkind. Many, some Fading and some still active Toons resent Mickey for his success and want to take him down by any means possible.

-One of Mickey’s faults is that he’s INCREDIBLY self-sacrificing. He will literally drop EVERYTHING, including taking care of his own well-being, just to help the people he loves. Should they ask him to sacrifice everything he’s worked for, he would do it without question.

-Another of Mickey’s faults is that he has ABSOLUTELY fallen into "toxic positivity," and can be very quixotic, thus, this offsets quite a number of Toons and even humans at first glance. He tries to force a minset of always being cheery and happy on not just himself but occasionally onto others because if he isn't happy....then who really is? Don't mistake him for a dictator at all....he's moreso someone trying to get by with the current climate and stresses of his job.

-A bad habit of Mickey is that not only is he prone to flights of fancy...he has a habit of trying to get them to work in reality. He dedicates SO much time in trying to get these impractical ideas to work that he often burns himself out.

-That being said, Mickey is a LOT more aware than he lets on. There are hints of a more sarcastic, world weary demeanor underneath his cheerfulness. It peeks out when Mickey forgets to put on his cheerful persona or when he's with Bugs and the other members of the Sensational Six, who he feels safe letting down his emotional walls around.

-Mickey has a passion for architecture and construction. If he's not personally overseeing the builds, then he's diving straight into doing it himself.

-Mickey's favorite animals are fireflies. As you can imagine, this has made him QUITE endeared to Ray the Firefly (from Disney's The Princess and The Frog) He has a whole space in his backyard dedicated to them. He never traps them in jars though (he views it as cruel). He simply watches them fly in the night.

-Mickey LOVES gift giving! It’s his most prominent and biggest love language. He is CONSTANTLY giving gifts to the people he loves. All of these gifts are specially commissioned or made by Mickey himself.

-Mickey is quite skilled at golfing! Some may find the sport boring, but Mickey finds it one of the quickest ways for him to relax. To Donald's dismay (as Mickey sometimes drags him along on these golfing tricks and Don's TERRIBLE at golfing), Mickey somehow always manages to get holes in one.

-Like Bugs, Mickey is INCREDIBLY multi-talented. Unlike Bugs, Mickey can actually handle the great outdoors.

-One of the few things he sucks at? Accents. He can not mimic an accent to save his life. His voice is too recognizable and high pitched to ever mimic an accent. He also can't roll his 'r's.

-Another thing he sucks at? Bargaining. Somehow, he can NEVER get discounts or reduced sales despite being one of the most famous cartoon characters in the world. They all charge him the same price.

-Mickey suffers from existential dysphoria. Being that he was perhaps the first cartoon character to achieve REAL worldwide fame, he’s often worried about the state of Toons in general.
