i'm not saying the cure for depression is touching grass. however, if you surround yourself with sad things and talk about how terrible life is and how much you're suffering and never take a breath and remember it's not all bad, you'll end up making yourself worse.

If you look for darkness, that is all you will find. But you know, darkness can't exist without light. Also, if you find yourself so upset by news and such, you are allowed to take a break and block certain topics until you are in a better place to handle such news. Plus even when the world are like it is, there is a lot of good things out there.
