(#／。＼#) You are so nice! Headcanons are probably my favorite part of fandom, so it’s awesome knowing that other people enjoy them~

That said, um, warning for excessive mockery of Leon because I know a lot of people love him, and I love him too (now) but I show my love by laughing at his pain. A lot. Just assume I’m cackling everywhere there is capslock.

Now, I don’t really think that Leon believes he’s going to one day sweep Camilla off her feet. And I think he grew up in Concubine Hell, so the idea that all of them are probably going to wind up marrying for political purposes is something he’s long since made peace with. I think these two things are tied together in his head, though - I think part of how he reconciles his love for Camilla with the fact that she will never return his feelings is the fact that she’s First Princess and would likely make a political marriage for their family’s sake anyway.

I also think that Leon would be at least a little jealous of whoever she married, but is the sort of person who would try to put it out of his mind, and/or mock her husband in subtle, intelligent Leon ways, depending on how childish he was feeling.

SO CAMILLA MARRIES ZERO.

Camilla marries ZERO, who has no political prospects. ZERO. Who Leon cannot ignore or overtly mock because hey guess what that’s his most loyal retainer. ZERO. Who talks excessively about the sorts of sex he’d like to have with anything that moves and yeah half of that is bravado and yeah he’d be polite to Leon’s face but you can bet your ass people talk about that shit so I’m sure Leon would have a p good idea of what his most loyal retainer was doing to his beloved older sister

on a regular basis

with her full, willing, enthusiastic consent 

bc it’s not like she married him for politics

and Camilla’s pretty physically affectionate, so like, you can imagine, I’m sure, she comes by Leon’s group and gives her brother an affectionate hug and then she goes over to her husband, Leon’s MOST LOYAL RETAINER, and whispers something really inappropriate in his ear and then they probably make out or something I don’t even know, all I know is that the steam coming out of Leon’s ears would cook a lot of rice.

Like, all joking aside, I truly believe it would be the worst possible scenario for him. It leaves him no way of justifying it in his head, and it forces him to confront and crush whatever tiny little daydreams he was still holding to. And I think he’d also feel betrayed by Zero, but have no way to express that to Zero without, you know, spilling his deepest darkest secret.

…which I’m sure would prompt Zero to suggest a threesome and then Leon would actually have to kill him.

hi Nanigma! i know this is a stretch since it doesn't look live you've been online in a while but i figured i'd ask anyway: so far as i've been able to see, Zero's supports in Warriors with Owain, Linde, and Caeda haven't been properly translated yet, i don't suppose you'd have the raws to translate those? or perhaps would even be willing to translate those yourself if it's not too much trouble and you have the time?

where do you get the game scripts for fire emblem fates? in that one anon ask about takumi and iago you mentioned you had the localized document. ive been unable to find a complete document anywhere with every bit of dialogue

For the Takumi/Iago convo, I think I just clicked around fireemblem.fandom.com until it finally showed up. All of the scripts throughout every FE game are really well hidden there. It's a major complaint I have for the website.

...And as I just discovered while retracing my original steps for answering this ask, the FE Fandom Wiki does actually have a hub where you can find links to each of the scripts in Fates... it's set-up very counterintuitively though. Instead of doing what Pegasus Knight.com does, breaking up the links into categories that follows the flow of the game like "main game script -> chapters" and "side scripts -> supports -> f!Corrin" ... Fire Emblem.fandom lists links to individual scripts together in alphabetical order on one big hub page. If you don't know the title of the chapter you want to look up, good luck, because all the chapters are listed by title, not number in-game.

So, in the end, there's no nice and neat document or anything. There's still a certain amount of clicking around until you find exactly which script you want, but most or all should be in FE fandom.

Also, for anyone curious about the Japanese scripts, they are all from pegasusknight.com. While not the only great Japanese FE resource out there, it's the most comprehensive. If it's not on Pegasus Knight, then you probably won't find it anywhere else within the Japanese resources. Pegasusknight.com used to be a nightmare to navigate as well, but in recent years they have fixed up their URLs and I can find anything I want for any FE game easily!

I made a footnote about it in the actual translation but I still want to share it with y'all in this post.

It's the chat on Day 4 at 11:45AM with Yoosung where they're talking about Seven changing his legal name to Luciel. The English version goes like this :

MC : Yeah, I thought the name Luciel was a bit too cartoonish. Yoosung : Really ? Jumin : Doesn't the name remind you of a character in a fantasy novel ? Yoosung : How would you know that ? Jumin : I do have common sense.

But — you guessed it — that's not what he says in Korean. The Korean version actually translates to :

MC : I did think the name “Luciel” sounded a bit like a character from a comic book. Yoosung : Really ? Jumin : Doesn’t it feel like middle-school syndrome ? I mean, “Luciel”? Yoosung : Hyung;; how do you even know the term “middle-school syndrome”? Jumin : It was in a “Modern Language Dictionary” that Assistant Kang told me to read.
