The Core
The Core is a median subsystem of unknown origin. Most of consider ourselves separate in terms of identity, but we're also part of a whole, sharing a collective story and life. We don't mind being perceived as a single individual and alternate between "we" and "I"
Charlie (they/them, therian, agender and aroace, used to be the host until roughly 2022-2023)
Fran (he/him, age-slider, probably our oldest member formation-wise, was also our host once)
Max (he/him, alterhuman, new host)
Otty (she/they, vampire)
Vixen (she/her, nonhuman coyote and occasionally feline, very maternal toward other members as well as our stuffed animals)
Corbin (he/him, werewolf)
Alice (he/him, oldest age-wise, deals with gender dysphoria and acts as a protector)
Mirror and Blanket are facets, not possessing any characteristics besides their roles and nicknames. Any pronouns can be used on them
Transmasculine
Collective identity:
On the aroace and bisexual spectrums (most are pan and demiaroace)
Faeborn
Alterhumans
Feline and canine therians
Transspecies werebeings
The Emberwood
ESSA handlers
Neurodivergent (diagnosed with autism and generalized anxiety)
A tulpagenic collective created prior to the discovery of The Core and our first contact with the plural community. All members were created or "invited" into the system. Charlie was the one to start it, alongside our first tulpa, Muffy. Our system in named after our wonderland, The Emberwood Forest.
Muffy (she/her, trans woman, spider shapeshifter)
Toby (he/him, werewolfkin and dog/greater bird-of-paradise therian)
Lobo (he/it/any, very private about his identity)
Chloe (they/them + dragon themed neos, fae and dragonkin)
Azalea (she/her, dragon girl)
N (he/him, doghearted and otherpaw, murder drones fictive)
Uzi (she/her, wolf and lynx therian, fictionkin, murder drones fictive)
❌To demedicalize DID/OSDD. Both need to stay in the DSM and ICD and be taken seriously and treated properly.
But we DO want:
✅Plurality to remain demedicalized and be properly seen and supported as such. Plurality as in, the state of having more than one mind in your head. It’s not inherently pathological and shouldn’t be seen as such by anyone.
We DO NOT want:
❌ To be in DID/OSDD-only spaces
But we DO want:
✅ To be allowed spaces of our own without being harassed just for existing
✅ To be allowed shared spaces, separate from DID-only ones, with those who *want* to be in a shared space, without being harassed just for sharing space
We DO NOT want:
❌ To use terms that don’t belong to us
But we DO want:
✅ To be able to continue to use the term “system” the way we have for literally decades because it is not and never has been an exclusively DID term. It has always been for all people who experience having others in their head, and was originally used as a substitute for “person with MPD/DID” because not everyone in the community back then had, needed, wanted, or fit the criteria for a diagnosis - but all were plural systems regardless.
We DO want:
✅ To be treated with decency and respect
And we DO NOT want:
❌ To be accused of faking just for experiencing plurality differently, or harassed in other ways
We DO NOT want:
❌ People thinking that every system works the same or that advice that works for one will work or be good for all
But we DO want:
✅ To be able to share spaces where that advice and help can be freely shared among different kinds of systems because while it might not be good for everyone, it’s always good for some, regardless of system origin or diagnostic status
We DO NOT want:
❌ People assuming that endogenic = never had any trauma.
And we DO NOT want:
❌ People thinking that just because we have trauma, we must be traumagenic. That’s for us to determine for ourselves.
And we DO want:
✅ The right to self-determine what’s right and true and what works for us, without being harassed for doing things some people assume are mistakes/going to hurt in the long run/whatever. Freedom and independence are nothing if it doesn’t also include the freedom to choose, and the freedom to make mistakes. And remember, since systems work differently, what may be harmful for you may be very beneficial for others, and vice versa.
We'll honestly stop checking the blogs that interact with ronrono-system. We got a lot of anti-endos there, which is very very funny... cuz we've stated that we're completly against sysmeds and the anti-endo culture. But it isn't worth it checking every single blog that interacts w us 🛌
we don't have clinically significant traces of traumagenic plurality, nor do we recall/consider having early trauma "bad enough" to cause it, so it probably won't happen anyway
claiming we "must have something bad that happened to us and don't remember, actually, because all plurality is traumagenic" or that we're making it up is harmful to us
we don't like and frankly can't handle questioning our memories
don't make us do it just because you think a certain experience is more valid than ours
we probably won't elaborate by engaging in syscourse; this blog is our space to talk about our experience, and we're doing just that
jack rabbit/rabbit is one of our alters who we struggle to coexist with the most, but trying to see where he’s coming from has helped a lot with getting on the same page. especially since chilla is very into getting to the root of our problems.
