My general thoughts abt "the power of virginity" in regards to fanfiction is that it's fun in stories and stuff, but there's always this small disconnect in my mind because like. I 100% am aware it's a human construct and isn't actually a real thing, and my logic brain tells me that therefore it shouldn't have any power regardless of the fact that I'm reading fanfiction and it's all make-believe to begin with.

So anyways. I was contemplating an appleradio idea where Alastor and Lucifer are about to do it for the first time, and Alastor's neurodivergent ass completely ruins the mood because he starts asking questions, and LUCIFER'S neurodivergent ass doesn't even realised that he's stopped preparing his bedmate and is now also getting really into their magical theory discussion.

And Alastor eventually and understandably gets to the topic of virginity, given he is a virgin who was about to lose it like thirty minutes ago, and asks if there's actually any power with regards to his blood or sacrificing his first time or whatever.

And this is where I explain things in a way that I would accept logically, through Lucifer's mouth:

Yes, there is power in virginity, but only because of the beliefs of people. If people did not believe that there was power in virginity, then there would be no power in it. The concept is similar to how tulpa exist— which they do btw but that's off topic. So long as people believe in it and put spiritual and religious faith into it, then it manifests into reality.

And then the discussion goes even further into talking about the weight of an individual's beliefs, and they just don't stop yapping at each other until it's morning and they have no time to even sleep.
