An interview with Mars Sputnik the puppydragon
Mars: Why do I need to answer all these questions? You know me better than I know myself! Me: But the people of the internet don't know you yet! Who knows you might even be considered 'cool'! Mars: Hey! 1. How old are you? Mars: I am 154 in human years, but I'm rather young for a puppydragon! 2. Did you have a happy childhood? Mars: Besides my mom dying and living with my very absent minded dad, yeah. 3. Past/ present relationships? Mars: I'm going out with Nebula if that's what you mean. Me: It means entirely. People you interact with day to day. Mars: Well there's my brother John Smith and my dad. Michael, of course, he might as well be family. Bunches of other people in the underground but yeah. 4. What do you care about? Mars: Nebula for sure. My family and friends. Justice. Lotsa stuff but that's the basics. 5. What are you obsessed with? Mars: Well, uh, not much. The art of combat? Protecting people. I dunno exactly, there's nothing I can think of right now. 6. Biggest fear? Mars: Probably loosing another loved one. That, and spiders. Spiders are spooky man! 7. What is the best thing that has ever happened to you? The worst? Mars: Well the best is probably meeting Neb. Worst would have to be everything surrounding the detonation of the Flood Bomb. 8. Most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you? Mars: I got caught wearing one of Nebula's dresses and a picture got out and got pasted all over home base. 9. Biggest secret? Mars: Pah! Like I'd tell the entire internet about it. Nice try! 10. What is the one word you would use to define yourself? Mars: Brilliant

The Basis for the Ignite Project
This world isn’t too far from ours. Hell, it might be ours. There’s a world of magic run by magic folk and magic kin. No true humans, just dragons, mermaids, unicorn, etc. There are also puppydragons, lupin satyrs, and lionlambs, whom run the main connections between the mundane and magic. Suddenly, the humans reach out with a proposal. A settlement where humans and magic folk joined together for a better tomorrow. A city called Unity. This city was the citadel of advancement, both in magical and scientific fields. But other governments were worried by their rate of growth and they were afraid that they might declare war one day. So they used Unity's own bomb, the Flood bomb, to destroy them. This made the puppydragons cut any and all ties between magic folk and humans.
Those the bomb didn't kill straight off made the survivors lives hell. The survivors were labeled numbs, three different types. The living dead, the stripped, and the skeletal. The living dead were deafened, muted, and blinded. The skeletal were reduced to skeletons with shadow centers. The stripped were shadows with certain portions preserved, essentially floating parts.
Now shadows are the equivalents of ghosts, but visible and functioning. They're dead magic folk. With so new members, the shadows formed their own communities, all run by a stripped named Piotr. But a shadow who went by the name Shadow King wasn't fond of their metaphysical state. He learned that Shadows can possess other but their pesky souls get in the way. So he developed a method called salvaging, the process of chopping off limbs of various creatures and possessing them as your own limb. New mismashed creatures were born. But the magic community was paying price. The shadows were abducting magic folk in broad daylight harvesting their limbs leaving them for dead. This resulted in the founding of Mill Mountain Underground and other bases, the safe havens for those attacked by the Shadows.
This battle has been raging for almost 50 years, and what our friends are facing today.
