Howard looked to the newcomer, paw still on the wounded bird. He blinked. “Uh…okay?”

Sam tried his best to try and see whether he could move Howard away from the bird; mostly get his paw off of it. “Did you do this?” Sam looks down at the bird, taking note of how it’s one wing is drooped down on one side.

He removed his press, looking at the rat with wings - pigeon. “Maybe. It was flailing like crazy.” His tail flicked and he looked to Sam. “Could’ve done it to itself, you don’t know.”

Right. Maybe this was why he got a cat. Or it was his senses going mad. Whichever. He hummed resting his fingers on Howard’s back givin it slow strokes as he looked at the holograms. “Your a stupid cat.” He huffed.

Howard moved onto his back for a tummy rub, tail flicking up at the comment. “And you’re a stupid human.” His collar buzzed out. Green eyes looked up to the holograms, and he slipped from his spot, onto the floor, jumping up onto the table. His head tilted curiously.

He huffed. Why did he bother getting a cat in the first place? Tony grunted moving his fingers lifting the beast up and into his lap

Howard didn’t put up much of a fight when he was lifted, but once on a warmer spot, he curled up into a tight ball, pushing himself into Tony’s abdomen. His tail flicked calmly.
