What are your thoughts on Gnomes?

It depends, as a mythological creature, I don't know much about them, so I can't make much judgment. But as a DND race, I think they're very fun, though I don't often play them myself.

Hello, I saw ur vid about how the fandom rightfully hates and doesn’t justify Valentino’s actions. They see him for the scumbag he is and don’t ship him w/ his victim. I agree, completely.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts on why it’s not the same w/ Vox? I know more people hate him and see him for what he is, but I have seen stans defend him. And worse, ship him w/ his victim. Vox is just as sh*t and even worse in some ways than Val. Vox has more than one person he abuses, ie Angel.

I think a lot of it comes from people thinking his actions are justified because his poor feels when Alastor rejected him. But to me it just gives the obsessed person who kills the person who turned them down. Also, probably because how popular and accomplished his VA is. I don’t feel bad for Vox. Because even in the flashback he ignored boundaries. He’s a textbook narcissist. Also a cult leader. The writers were not subtle about what he is.

But still his stans just to downplay what he did and is. It’s so weird when you compare to abusive /SA’ers in the same fandom. And how different they have been received. The scene w/ Angel should have been more than enough for everyone to stop defending him. But his stans purposely don’t talk about it, and claim he’s just misunderstood and heartbroken 😠 It’s so frustrating. What do you think?

But physical and mental abuse are seen as being “less bad” than sexual abuse, which is something I don’t enjoy. It centers around the idea of sex being inherently dirty and bad. I mean, just think about how it’s treated in movies. The most violent scenes can be on screen but the moment there’s (consensual) sex? NC-17. Can’t be played in most theaters.

Now for the record, I love Vox, I think he’s an incredible character and a lot of fun. But he’s a cult leader. He’s awful. The fandoms response to him vs Val is solely based on societies views on sex

btw you're allowed to enjoy two differing interpretations of the same character and you don't have to justify why you like it to anyone. you can like your evil character to be malicious and serious and you can like depicting them as a silly goober. you can enjoy seeing people draw two characters in all sorts of different contexts and dynamics without having to pick one over the other. you don't have to come up with a complex reason. you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. you can like a character multiple ways without having to justify why it's not problematic or why it's not weird. do what you want. it's fandom, not a testimony before the court.
