Jim and Pam

I’ve seen a few different girls mention that they are ‘looking for their Jim Halpert’ on their dating profiles. I was a huge fan of the Office, but I always found it painful to watch that side plot with Jim and Pam. I’ll explain why, and why no guy will ever say ‘I’m looking for a girl like Pam Beesley’

When the show begins, Pam (the secretary) is engaged to a lunkhead in the warehouse named Roy. Their engagement goes on for years and years, and he’s framed as someone who is selfish, uncaring, and using Pam.

In comes Jim Halpert, a mid-level salesman with low ambition. He secretly pines for Pam from a far, and Pam pretends not to notice while basking in the attention. We’re not supposed to see Pam as someone who is selfish, uncaring, and using Jim.

We’re supposed to root for the two of them to get together? Why?

Throughout the seasons, Jim professes his love, kisses her, and reaches a  boiling point to get shot down. It bothers him so much, he relocates to a different branch.

When googling Pam Beesley sucks, there seems to be a troop of people co-signing my sentiments here, and mentioning other ways in which this character sucks.

This article mentioned a great plot point I forgot about. “Jim then has the opportunity to grab Jan Levinson's job at NY corporate due to his friendship with David Wallace, but decides that he loves Pam and returns to Scranton.”

This is the when the Jim and Pam storyline became unbearable.

Jim should have accepted defeat, started a higher paying position in his company. If he wasn’t a pussy, or a cuck, he would have made that happen for himself, and everything you see the dude doing after this is painful to watch.

Jim returns dating Rasheeda Jones and Pam immediately cockblocks and ruins the relationship for him. Then instead of getting into a relationship, she throws Jim under the bus.

Pam decides to confess to Roy that she kissed Jim (who knows how long after the kiss actually happened). Pam then DUMPS ROY for being angry that she CHEATED ON HIM! Pam doesn’t predict that Roy would be overly angry with the news, even after being with him for quite a long time and knowing his personality. Pam doesn’t predict that Roy would want to fight Jim, and does not give Jim a heads up that she had this discussion with Roy. Roy charges at an off-guard Jim. Everything about this paragraph is selfish, inconsiderate bullshit.

Jim then encourages Pam to go to art school, only so she can discover she sucks and no one cares. She quits, and goes home with her tail between her legs. She tricks her way into an administrator position, and then somehow becomes a salesperson without any prior training.

Pam sucks as a person. There’s nothing interesting about her. She has a C- level art talent, and zero drive or ambition. She’s always unsure and questioning herself. She doesn’t think very highly of herself, yet expects very highly for herself. This is why I hated this sub-plot- for the off chance that women tried to mimic her cock-teasing, waste of life energy by watching this show. But then you realize, most women are useless like Pam Beesley. Women that will prevent you from being who you should be, and suck the life out of you.

When Jim decides to start his own business with Daryl, Daryl goes off and enjoys the success of working with athletes and sports, while Jim sucks it up and stays home to support Pam, who refuses to leave Scranton. It would have been two jobs he prevented himself from getting had he not somehow gotten encouragement from Pam.

Everything about this bitch sucks, and it annoys me that we’re supposed to be ok with her behavior. It annoys me that Jim kisses her ass and never calls her on her shit. And I guess this is why all these women want that Jim Halpert, the guy who will sacrifice his life, let his soul get sucked out, give 110% while you give 25% and suck at life.

All of the women on the show sucked, the uptight cat lady that married the gay senator, the ditzy Indian chick who always lied about being pregnant, the neurotic Jan who made Michael her fuck toy and then moved into his place making him get a second job to support her.

It really mirrors real life though, cause women suck in this many ways. It’s a downer of an article here, but I got really stoned and way deep into analyzing this Office on the comedy central re-reuns.

Hustlers

So, some dirty queens bitch gets knocked up at 15, and starts stripping at 16 to ‘support her child.’ When this poor baby doesn’t have any rich men to mooch off due to a financial crisis, she turns criminal, drugs and robs a bunch of wealthy men. When the cops find out, to ‘protect her child’ she turns informant, and gets to keep everything she’s stolen, and gets 5 years probation for her crimes. Now she has a screenplay written about her, starring Jennifer Lopez as her, she’s doing the talk show circuit, she’ll probably write a book. What the fuck?

Does anyone else but me see anything wrong with this, at all? All the greatest heist movies, drug dealing movies, they all end with the protagonist getting arrested or dying. When it’s a woman, she gets away with it. Art imitating life.

This exact same scenario helped to push a societal #metoo movement, where we completely examine the behavior of men, and scold them. Then we turn around and see women getting praised and portrayed in movies doing the same thing?

So who’s going to play Bill Cosby in the male version of this? Where we get to see Bill Cosby slip spanish fly to models and jerk off on them passed out, for decades, until he turns informant on his spanish fly dealer, and gets probation. That’d be a real fun caper film for everyone.

This is like a movie about a greedy... whore... who is too lazy to actually be a whore. The media is portraying this, and dateline, as a story of a cunning, clever, young enterprising woman. Right.

Leaving Neverland

What’s up Fuckos? I forgot my password for a long time, but I took the time to create a new one, and I’m back! What, no emails while I’m away? No love letters? No please come back to us? You shitheads.

You know what bothers me about this Leaving Neverland? (Which, btw, was like watching a plane crash- detailed accounts of pedophilia, graphically detailed, in a biopic, documentary style 2-part series? I’m not sure if this is really a good thing at all. I’ve never seen anything like it.)

Now, he was born in 1982, and alleges that he was molested until age 13, which would have been 1995. He testified in court on Michael Jackson’s behalf in 1993 and 2005.

Now, I can understand why he did it in 1993, he was young and under his spell. In 2005, he did it for financial and career gains. He made a deal with the devil, denied an abuse victim justice, and ignored the morally responsibility he had.

Now, he wants to bear his soul and cleanse himself publicly with his TV appearances and with this documentary. This is after he’s dead, after his checks stop, and after his influence can take him places. The one kid had the balls to say ‘fuck you Mike, I’m not going to help you,’ this kid took the money, and essentially helped Michael Jackson escape his justice.

Michael Jackson got word of the police sniffing his ass, and started buying character witnesses. Maybe psychologists would disagree, but at the very least you knew it wasn’t normal, wasn’t socially acceptable, and downright illegal because we are talking about a trial going on for the exact same thing that you went through.

And I get pissed off at the criminal justice system, just eating up bail money and payouts, the record labels, and thousands of greedy hands that earned money off Michael Jackson while turning a blind eye.

10 years later, Wade is back in the news claiming he was brainwashed and manipulated. Yeah, partially, but you’re also a greedy fuck. I need money, I need attention, I need closure, fuck you asshole. And this is why I had to make this post. I’ll victim blame this guy. Just think about it.

Just like the judges, lawyers, record executives, managers, handlers, he just wanted that fucking check. All of those people weren’t literally bending over for MJ, but they were, figuratively, so fuck you. All of you. You partially deserve your nervous breakdowns and crisis mode, because you didn’t stand up for yourself like the other kid. The only reason these judges, lawyers, handlers, don’t have this breakdowns is because they don’t have TV shows, they aren’t entertainers, they are just greedy fucks with no soul, no conscience.

*This documentary shows that Wade Robson’s abuse claims came a week before the start of a 2012 Michael Jackson show that he wanted to choreograph, but didn’t.

I don’t want to hear the details of Michael Jackson making you bend over while he jerked off, save that for your therapist. I don’t like the fact that you’re paid to be on Oprah and the Today show to talk about this. Now I can’t enjoy any of his music, I really can’t. Inspirational quotes

There’s something that really irks me about inspirational quotes, and people who have their Facebook feed or Instagram pages clogged with that shit. These people think they have insight, all the answers, have life pegged, yet the people that need these quotes the most are usually the people posting them. If you have like 200 friends/followers and you’re dropping inspirational quotes? You really need to examine your life. No one is coming to you for sage advice.

I thought this example was particularly amusing because I’ve never seen someone put out an inspirational quote, and then credit themselves. And what’s worse, it makes no fucking sense.

Can anyone make sense of this at all? If anyone has an idea, please fill me in.

Check your privilege

I really would like to live in a world where this type of shit is entirely unacceptable. Where you wouldn’t even think to have this level of arrogance, even as a goof. It's why I cringe when I hear the whole ‘check your privilege’ thing.

LeSean McCoy

I don’t know if you’ve heard this story..

So an NFL running back, LeSean McCoy, breaks up with his girlfriend. And.. she won’t leave... or return expensive jewelry that LeSean had loaned to him from jewelers.

She pulls that ‘squatters rights’ bullshit, saying she expecting the relationship to progress, and won’t leave the house. For over 11 months. The dude has made one or two attempts to evict her, through the courts, he shuts off the power in the house, nothing works. The woman won’t leave the man’s life. Like an animal you fed a few times that keeps coming back, relentlessly.

Then a lone assailant breaks into this NFL player’s home and pistol whips her for some jewelry, and makes a clean getaway. Apparently it was specific jewelry that LeSean was attempting to recover, and had cryptically eluded might get stolen. (911 call) Some random friend of the girl starts blasting the NFL player, claiming he was involved, and posted a picture of her face all bashed in. Now the girl is saying that she’s ‘not sure’ LeSean was involved.

Either he was involved, or YOU were involved. If you have expensive jewelry that you don’t want to give back, why not get your ass beat, and have someone steal it off you? One of these two things happened, and I’m very interested to see where it goes.

If you’re name is ‘Delicia,’ and you’re the type of chick to live in a man’s house, rent free, for one year after a relationship ends, chances are you were involved.

-One dude- who breaks in and beats on two people, orders you both into a bathroom, without tying you up, steals some shit, and leaves? And gets away? Is he on foot, in a car? Surely you live in a neighborhood with a lot of distance between houses, this dude disappeared? No arrests, leads, nothing? No broken noses? Fractured skulls? I’m seeing ‘treated and released,’ but not hearing about any crazy damage. Would you get smacked by a pistol a few times like this for a million dollars worth of jewelry? Who wouldn’t?

I’ll eat my words, though, if I’m wrong. And unless I hear about LeSean getting arrested, I’ll assume she did arrange it herself, and got away with it.

#Metoo - the cycle of bullshit

So, before I begin this post, I believe that Louis CK was being abusive, and does deserve the current exile status he is experiencing. I do believe he should have the ability to work again, but I do believe that he has some answering to do for his behavior.

CK asked this woman, Rebecca Corry, if he could jerk off in front of her while they were ‘on set’ together. She declined. After not coming out about it at first, she later did, essentially piling on to what had already started.

She became the face of Louis CK’s career death, along with 4 or 5 other women. She recently popped up in an article here, complaining of how she can’t move past this incident. She says speaking out put her in a lose-lose situation.

She goes on to say how she’s constantly asked about it in interviews, as if annoyed

“They didn’t end the day it happened and won’t end any time soon for me, a comedian who has now spoken out against one of her own. So in the hopes I stop getting asked about it, I’ve decided to explain a few things about this impossible situation. “

but then ironically adds..

“The Time’s Up and #MeToo movements, and the journalists who cover them, would do well to focus on the people struggling in the aftermath, and less on the celebrities attaching themselves to the movement and salacious clickbait details. “

But, YOU are someone struggling in the aftermath, and here you are requesting people to stop asking you about it, while offering click-baity details? You’re basically saying, yeah the #MeToo movement is important, and I want to talk about it for a hot minute, but now that’s over for me and in the future only ask me about my current film projects during interviews. GTFO.

She’s posting twitter quotes of randos criticizing her about CK. She’s taking shots at Dave Chapelle for making an insensitive CK joke, she’s rambling on and on, all in her emotions to the 10th power, while at the same time trying to distance herself from it all. She doesn’t know whether to continue having conversations about the issue, or put it to rest.

Hearing these stories are important, but you read some of these articles and you can pick up on how self absorbed and devoid of certain logic they are, as your average woman typically is, and we never get to address it. It’s like letting a child have their way, not correcting a wrong, just to make it through the day.

I’m sorry, but this makes the guy sound like he was pure evil. I’m not going to defend him, or stick up for him, but really. Is the guy as sinister as this quote makes him sound? Whereas he was abusive with his power, let’s also make room for the fact that he might have had an unhealthy sexual compulsion.  Sexual deviance, sexual predators, pedophiles, rapists, sexists, sociopaths, bipolar, lots of different types. CK is not what I consider a schedule 1 Cosby asshole.

This woman has a different hardship to go through than a woman who had to get a rape kit. And this is not to downplay her experience, but to really magnify her words in the above quote, and put this whole #MeToo wave into perspective.

As a victim, you have to assume the pressure of being a victim. If someone crashes their car and walks differently afterwards, they unfortunately have to deal with being a victim. To come off irritated about ‘being asked about it,’ seems a bit obnoxious. As genuine as her point was, that she’d like to move on from being the victim.

To offer ‘salacious click bait details’ such as specific tweets from haters, to put someone in the spotlight negatively for making a joke about the situation in a comedy special, and then go into this poor me bullshit. You’re continuing to play the victim, while being annoyed with your situation, again, kind of obnoxious.

Women love the ‘cake and eat it too’ thing, seeing it play out this way feels like it’s cheapening the sentiments behind her struggle. She could have gathered her thoughts a little better and spoken to her shrink, or her publicist, before putting this out into the world, but at this particular moment in time, women can really do no wrong, and we’re not allowed to criticize them without being told to ‘fuck off.’

Chris Hardwick...

We’ve all dated someone who was a little different than we hoped they’d be. We’ve all dated someone we hoped would change. We’ve all been in relationships that we’d hoped would get better, but didn’t. Whose fault is it, if we keep playing a losing hand? Your own.

She’s staying with him, despite her feeling abused, she’s web-camming videos of herself thanking her ‘amazing boyfriend,’ during this alleged abuse... for what? She’s creating this fake facade to the public, in her own mind, when deep down, she knows it’s a lie, for what?

Because abuse victims are manipulated by their abusers? Because vulnerable people are lured in and controlled?

No, these people have an idea of what they want, they go in dealing with whatever bullshit that is thrown at them in HOPES of getting what they want. Whether it’s sex, love, fame, money, whatever. Nothing is promised in life, nothing is assumed, there are a ton of different relationship dynamics.

How many women have stayed with lazy men that don’t want to take them places, and stay with them hoping that will change. Hoping they somehow, out of nowhere they become worldly and cultured? I’ve seen it happen a lot. How many guys stay with verbally abusive, money grubbing, attention whores, in hopes they ‘calm down’ and become a good partner. I’ve seen it happen a lot. You see these losers and you say, what is wrong with you, exit stage left, have some respect for yourself. But it’s their journey.

Unless we’re talking about rape, physical abuse, I see no reason Chris Hardwick should have his career ruined for having behavior that ONE of his girlfriends found ‘controlling.’ There is no crime in humanity here that we need to crucify this man for, no solid evidence, and certainly conflicting stories. For shit sake, 2 or 3 women who have dated him and been friends with him are speaking on his behalf despite the obvious backlash they will face in doing so. This man has no history of being abusive in fact quite the opposite. Is it possible, at all, that this Chloe is lying or misinterpreting, internalizing, and incorrectly processing reality?

If you’re desperate to hold on to someone, despite not truly enjoying a relationship, I refuse to call you a victim. If you’ve made attempts to work out your problems, and it hasn’t worked, and you stay in a relationship, I refuse to call you a victim. Letting a love buzz cloud your judgment, it’s not abuse, it’s codependency. You have to stand strong on your own before standing strong with a partner. Don’t put all your hopes and dreams in someone’s hands and then lash out at them when they don’t fulfill your expectations. Don’t lash out on a man because YOU were too weak to leave, and stand on your own. You’re so weak you needed ANYONE to trapeze with, because you’re too weak to stand on your own. It’s pathetic. Part of growing up is discovering what does and doesn’t work. To never take accountability, to label everything as abusive, it’s not going to solve any personal conflict for you. It’s not going to promote growth to safeguard the world.

Chloe Dykstra sees Chris Hardwick, a guy nearly 20 years her senior, and thinks...

What I wanted was a partner, someone to confide in, someone to share things with, someone who wouldn’t judge me, someone I knew would be there for me. What I felt that this man wanted was a woman who would feed him, sleep with him, and go to events with him.

What you wanted was, to advance your career by dating someone more famous than you were. You wanted someone who was rich and famous to see you as a valuable, young piece of ass, and have him wrapped around your finger and easily manipulated. Chris Hardwick would not ‘be there for you,’ later in life, as a 40-year-old woman, he’d be nearing 60 and the two of you would be so out of synch that it wouldn’t make sense at all. Relationships with that much of an age gap, I mean you have to automatically assume it’s mutually beneficial and has a short shelf life. Name any celebrity marraige with over a 10-year age gap that lasted more than 5 seconds. Any..

As far as this ‘sexual assault,’ where is it? Chris Hardwick wants to fuck, asks to fuck, pressures to fuck, maybe. Is that really an assault? If you’re with a guy that wants to fuck way more than you do, bounce. Don’t ride with him for three years. And, why don’t you want to fuck the guy? Really, are you one of these women who wants to fuck once a week, or once a month?

Some women have this thing where they spoil you in the beginning of a relationship, and then you’ll see the affection drop off. They’ll lick your ass, and hang from the ceiling when they fuck you, just to show you they have that in them. But, after they sink their teeth into you, the relationship becomes all about their emotional needs and zero about your sexual needs. Sex becomes a chore for them, and for a man, trying to have sex becomes this push and pull that we can easily see turn into a career ending claim of sexual assault. Bull fucking shit. You have to do that dance where you want sex, but constantly have to romantic in it’s pursuit or else you’re an animal.

Chris Hardwick works 70 hour weeks bouncing all over Hollywood, pushes his friends aside to focus on his career, and wants to come home to get his dick lit up. Here’s her 20-year-old house pet girlfriend acting like she’s dried up, tired, not in the mood, and that he should spend more time talking to her about her problems. Is that it? Or spending more time with his friends? Fuck friends, and fuck love. I respect that. He doesn’t have time for that bullshit, he wouldn’t be who he is if he made time for that bullshit. Does everyone not understand this?

After three years of being snapped/yelled at constantly, very rarely being shown any affection- I finally left him. For another man. That I had literally just met. I was so desperate to be out I just clung on to the first knight in shining armor to show up.

The text messages he sent to her clearly say that she’s cheating on him with some guy named ‘Sam,’ and that he gave her space to ‘find herself,’ and ‘would be a dickhead not to do that.’ Now, to me, that doesn’t sound like a guy who’s controlling, but a guy who’s pissed off that he’s dating a manipulative, cheating skank. He dumped her, via text message, like the skank deserved. And at no point did she reply to those texted statements saying, I never did that, or I never said that. Just, ‘I understand,’ and ‘I’ll probably send you some desperate e-mails in the future because I fucked things up.’

She ‘left him for another man,’ no bitch, you cheated on him behind his back while trying to hold him at bay, and got dumped. You didn’t leave him, he left you. Your whole story becomes invalid when you paint the facts this way. And it’s funny, this ‘rarely being shown affection.’ What affection are you showing him, physically, emotionally? She’s withholding. That’s her deal, she wants to suck a guy’s time, energy, and effort, and maybe give him just a smidge in return as reward. Just enough to keep him...content. No one is ‘happy’ dating an emotional parasite like this.

Maybe the guy was a little controlling, private, paranoid, hyper-sexual, you fully have a choice to leave this man if he doesn’t suit you. You should have left for that new 'knight in shining armor’ that you randomly fucked. Instead you ‘starfished’ for Chris, and fucked some other guy, Sam, that he worked with?

This bullshit, I wanted someone to confide in, someone to ‘share things with,’ you wanted someone to control, and ‘get over on,’ like every young woman dating someone double their age. And she’s calling HIM controlling. When you’ve dealt with a woman like this, you can really see past the bullshit.

And now you’re so emotionally fragile, standing on top of a bridge ready to jump, and it’s all Chris’ fault. Any chick in Hollywood chasing a dream is an unstable, emotional roller-coaster, even if her success story is coming true. Whereas yours is not, taking big risks, chasing the big reward, and failing, gives you a big crash. Take responsibility, have some accountability.

Understand this man does not control your mind or force you to do things, you allow yourself to do them in hopes that it will get you somewhere, and then lash out when it doesn’t. That’s entirely you’re fault. Perhaps if you moved from dating Chris to dating someone more famous, like most of these Hollywood, reality star, no-name, no talent whores, we wouldn’t be listening to your sob story at all.

Ask yourself why this woman would ‘leave Chris from another man’ yet, beg the guy to get back with her, and hold on to that hope, for over half a year. Turn your confusion into rage and then ruin the guy’s life. Applause.
