So I recently started Homestuck because my brother indoctrinated me. I started a month ago and just finished act 5 part 1… and I really like gamzee.

Okay I’m Not a GTA fan admittedly, but I had a thoughts we’re seeing more info about gta 6.

GTA 5 was in a different era of gaming. Micro transactions hadn’t begun to infect absolutely everything, live service games weren’t the standard and our general attention spans weren’t too fried for a world like gta.

I’m worried that what we’re gonna get isn’t gonna be a new era of gaming. I’m begging to worry that it’s going to fail where the original games excelled and might be a tad underwhelming because we’re simply in a different world now.

I randomly decided to rewatch Age of Ultron before bed because I’m in a super hero mood and it’s just one of my favorite films period (is that a hot take? I’m not up to date on discourse)

I don’t know why but this watch through I’m just fascinated by banner and hulks relationship. how much they show the differences and consequences of their dual existence is something I’ve noticed but like I haven’t really focused on and it’s really interesting to me.

I saw someone describe the differences between DC and Marvel as one being humans trying to be gods and the other gods trying to be human and I think that encapsulates what’s so interesting about it to me all of a sudden. It put it into perspective, he’s both. He’s a middle between humans and these super-powered people and he has the issues of both. I’m sure this is boilerplate but it’s new to me :)

Okay, admittedly I’m THE target audience for the Marvel Superheroes set given that I’ve adored comics my entire life, and I understand why people would be not that into it… but I gotta say my immediate impressions of this set are turned on their heads lmao

I was so sure it was gonna be ass like spiderman but I’m actually into some of these cards pretty heavy (like antman, thanos, etc). Excited to see what the full set is like

Okay. Official Trailer for X-Men 97 season two dropped and it looks fun! But, and this is a heavy but, I’m not sure if I’m excited because of how many issues I had with the first season (I mean i literally wrote a massive post about it).

Season one was good but its writing was so not for me or downright confusing imo. I know the main creator who seems responsible for all the everything I hated is gone (and I’ve heard they scrubbed the second season of anything he did, which is good, fuck that guy) but that doesn’t mean the plot points will be gone and that makes me extremely hesitant.

Ok so I’ve been thinking about what could be fun as partners for the pride event in June because I’d love to do it with my friends as an excuse to get the yuri lotus. And my mind immediately went to the two card I’ve sworn should have partner an the most well known gay couple in fantasy

Legolas and Gimli. Is there something good here? Who knows. But it’s a funny idea
