Idk if this counts as a prompt but it'd be helpful if you could answer! Fine if not, of course.

I am trying to write noncon whump but I kinda want it to be a "you don't get it until it's in front of your face" for the whumpee. Does this make sense? It's okay if you don't wanna answer!!!

Yeah, that makes sense!

Noncon + oblivious whumpee

Content: noncon, restraints, noncon touching, defiant whumpee, beating, stoic whumpee, stripped, defiant whumpee broken, sadistic whumper

B, bound to a chair, watching as A sets out BDSM sex toys on a table. A turns to them with a smile. Which drops when they see the innocent, confused expression on B face.

"You know what I'm about to do to you, don't you?" A whispers sensually into B's ear. B flinches away subtly, trying to stay calm. They don't answer. They don't know.

Jumping hard when A touches their crotch. Startled, wide eyes locking onto B's greedy ones.

"What?" A asks. "I don't---why are you---please don't." B stammers.

Or B just stays silent, tears coming to their eyes as they squirm away, starting to shudder.

Or defiant whumpee suddenly realizing what A is doing. Hands and feet bound, face down after being kicked till their ribs ache. "You can hurt me all you want, you'll never get to me." They sneer at A. And suddenly they're hoisted up over a chair on their stomach, belt unbuckled, pants yanked down.

"Nothing to say?" B stays silent rather than answering A's question. They're shaking. Their voice would tremble if they tried to speak.

B, who has been defiant up till now, swallows their words as A's hands trace over their intimate parts. "I'm-I'm sorry," they whisper desperately.

"Not sorry enough... not yet."

"Oh, that's not what this is about."

"You look so delicious when you're crying."

Embrace the kneeling, kneeling is good for your whump.

Leaving weapons and loyal knights getting down on one knee.

Remorseful willing whumpees dropping on their knees to take the punishment.

Self-sacrificial stoic whumpees kneeling as a gesture of ultimate surrender.

Defiant whumpees being forced to kneel, while groaning angrily and looking at the main Whumper with their eyes of fire.

Caretakers dropping on their knees to attend their whumpees.

Whipped whumpee can't stand anymore, they're on their knees, hanging by their bound wrists.

Whumpees chained to the wall by the wrists, and chains are so short, they sleep kneeling.

Wounded and exhausted whumpees who must keep moving, but their legs give up. Extra sweet if they lean on one hand and drop their head, breathing heavily before getting up again.

Broken whumpees begging on their knees, compliant whumpees kneeling when they're told to (not my piece of cake, but definitely someone's).

Flaws

Content: defiant, stoic, royal, touch starved, complaint, living weapon, and leader whumpees; noncon, flawed characters

A defiant whumpee that wishes they could just keep their mouth shut

A royal whumpee that wishes they could just lay down their pride and stop caring, but it's not that easy

A stoic whumpee that wishes they could cry

A compliant whumpee that wishes they were brave enough to scream at whumper what's in their head

A touch-starved whumpee that hates themselves every time they go back to whumper for more

A victim of noncon that finds whumper's voice slowly starting to take over their own, in their own head. It's so much easier to believe the lies.

A whumpee that starts to act like whumper when whumper isn't around, and is disgusted by their own behavior, yet can't seem to stop.

A living weapon starting to genuinely care less and less for the lives they take, wondering how long before they'll stop being human altogether. Maybe it's better this way.

A leader whumpee that is relieved when one of the team takes a hit for them. And they don't know if they are allowed to feel that way.

Whumpee sweating during branding. That’s it. The sheen over their skin, exposed muscle glistening and skin glistening with sweat to match. The heat rolling off the brand before it touches them. The heat Whumper/Caretaker feels coming off Whumpee’s body. Just. Branding.

Tropes that always give me whumperflies

Content: noncon nudity, manhandling, injuries, beating, fear, defiant/stoic whumpee

Throwing whumpee onto their knees before the enemy leader and holding them there by the back of the neck

Whumpee half-curled into a fetal position as they're being relentlessly kicked

Whumpee forced to strip. And doing so flushing and getting ashamed.

Whumpee shuddering and shaking from exhaustion caused by screaming, resisting, and fear

Wiping blood off hastily, grabbing injuries, making faces as they try not to cry

Ripping their pants down or shirt up so roughly it jerks whumpee's body

The broken sob that's kind of the end of a cry they barely managed to hold in

Whumpee feeling stupid, humiliated, even though anyone would, in their position

Sweating, swallowing, and keeping their face under control, trembling as they are inspected

Being twisted by the wrist, spun around, and slammed face-first into a wall or desk

Compromising positions like whumper sitting on their butt, in a non-sexual, violent way that just emphasizes the desperate physical struggle.

Grabbing them by the face to look at them and make snide observations about how scared they are

Grabbing their hair to slam them into the wall and whispering something in their ear that makes whumpee grimace

The young lord shakes the guard's hands off. "Who do you think I am, soldier? I shall walk myself." He leads them to the castle's yard, acting as if they're his royal escort, not executioners.

The garrison and the entire staff gathered in the castle's yard, waiting. The lord lifts his chin up, strips to the waist, throwing his clothes carelessly in the yard's dust.

Footsteps behind his back, the whip hisses as someone drags it along. Then whistle and quiet crack, then pain. That is odd, the lord thinks as another lash comes. Not as bad as I thought it would be...

He looks behind his shoulder at the face of the man whipping him. Some chamber servant. An unfamiliar face, pale and guilty, his eyes red.

The lord raises his eyebrows, then frowns. The servant's hand shakes as his lips whisper "I'm sorry, mylord!"

The young man then looks at guards and finds another face. "Captain! Step forward."

"Mylord." captain replies, stepping out of the formation.

"Come closer." the lord commands, and as the captain obeys, he says quietly, so that the servant couldn't hear. "Take the whip. I remember you, I know you hate me. So come on and hit me properly. I know you will not insult me with your pity."

Captain's eyes light up, he barely contains a carnivorous smile. He thought he'd never see a day like this!

"You may go now." the lord says kindly to the poor servant, then straightens up, gritting his teeth. He knows next lash will be different. And he'll show them how a true lord takes the pain. "Start from count one."

So be it

A young lord, late teens, caught mid shenanigans with his most loyal servant-friend. Father, furious, commands to whip the servant, brushing off his son's participation.

The lord steps in, says the servant simply followed his orders. "Silence, or I'll have you whipped!" the father bluffs.

"Then... Then so be it." the son replies quietly.

"Son. Don't be ridiculous, it's X lashes."

"Then so be it." young lord's voice grows confident.

"But your highness..."

"Silence!“ a sound of his father's might in his tone, so unusually commanding. "You are dismissed."

The servant backs away, bowing. The father, in disbelief, hisses: "X2 lashes for disobedience."

"So be it."

"X3 lashes!"

"So be it."

"X4 lashes!!!“

"So! Be! It! However many! I do not care, father!"

Eyes meet eyes, stubborn, blazing, so much alike. The servant listening from around the corner whispers his oaths, his heart barely containing the passion of loyalty.

The father turns his eyes away first and says, voice threateningly quiet: "So be it."

I didn't think of continuing this post, but here we are

restraints during recovery. medical bands to keep them still because they really do need that IV, and if they keep pulling it out, they'll be sedated. team brawn holding a thrashing, terrified whumpee, two arms braced across their chest so they can't hurt anyone. putting the chains on for a cover up, for an act, but slipping too far into the mindset they had as a prisoner, counting the scratches on the metal. gagging a whumpee to keep them quiet during escape. muzzling a starved vampire because they can't feed until it's safe. restraining a recovering whumpee and watching their eyes glaze over, like they never left.........

Coughing up blood into a hand and then looking at it with shocked/terrified eyes

The Tension™ of one character tenderly patching up another character's wounds and scolding them for being reckless

A hand going under a jacket or shirt and coming away bloody

Forced to kneel with a sword under their chin

Lying about the severity/hiding of an injury

Collapsing after a big magic spell/magical exhaustion draining them

The comic relief character joking about their trauma/injury to dissuade worry from them

Hero injured/collapsing on villians doorstep or vice versa, "I didn't know where else to go"

Being curled on the ground and then kicked in the ribs (literally being kicked while they're down)

Being injected with a needle of drugs/potion by villian that knocks them out

Having a terrible nightmare and waking up with a cry in a cold sweat

Whumpee held strong. Whumpee never broke. Whumpee never said "stop", never said "please", never shed a tear. When the law enforcement rescued him, he made sure to give as many valuable details on Whumper as he could recall. Officers tapped him on the shoulder, saying "Good job, champ."

And then Caretaker came. And hugged him, ever so gently.

Two seconds, three, five. "Ok, ok, I'm alright, you can let go now," Whumpee say. Caretaker nods and keeps holding. Fifteen seconds in Whumpee's arms raise to hug Caretaker back.

And thaaaat's when the dam breaks. First the lip begins shaking. "I'm alright, really," he says and the voice cracks. He finally cries.

"I got you," Caretaker replies softly and holds him through screaming, and ugly crying, and eventually sobbing quietly. Caretaker's vest gets wet with tears. "I got you."

Gags

The embarrassment as drool drips down around the gag from the corners of their mouth

Bruising and chafing that is very difficult to hide

Whumpee wearing a mask to cover it up

Or Whumper taking them to an event and forcing whumpee to wear a mask to hide the gag, while people at the event marvel at how ‘well trained’ and ‘quiet’ Whumpee is

Taped mouth. Duct tape pressed over lips. The smell of the adhesive. The residue it leaves behind. The tightness of it, the way it pulls at the skin.

The immediate control it gives Whumper. Pinch Whumpee’s nose shut and suddenly you have a writhing, spasming victim.

Or better yet, tape their nose shut. Make them believe this is how it ends, suffocating behind that plasticky scent, helpless

Sew their lips shut. The intimacy of it, the wincing every time the needle pierces their flesh — or maybe Whumper numbed it first, and Whumpee can only watch in the mirror as their mouth is stitched up, utterly silenced

The little noises Whumpee makes. The breathing around the gag. The whines, the panicked “mmmph”s as they realise the words aren’t coming. Maybe they try anyway, sounding stupid as they fail to hurl insults

Caretaker carefully removing a gag, horrified at the thought of Whumpee humiliated like this, their autonomy stripped

Caretaker gagging Whumpee to keep them quiet while they escape. The quiet “I’m sorry”s. The betrayal in Whumpee’s eyes; or maybe it’s acceptance.

Whumpee waking up to realise they are muzzled, the immediate dehumanisation, the panic to realise they can’t move their jaw, the laboured breaths to the thick leather or even metal strapped and pressing into their face

Cut out their vocal cords. Do it. Whumpee can't even make a sound. And they never will again.

Or cut out their tongue, the feeling of something wrong in their mouth, the horrific stump it leaves behind, the shapeless screaming it causes

April is the cruelest month Day #1: Gagged

as much as I love badass characters pushing through pain to fight, I also love when they hit a point where they just can't. something structural is wrong or broken, so they can't stand. their muscles are simply too weak and overworked to hold them up. their bloody hands slip off the handles of their weapons, they can't aim through their vertigo or tunneling vision, they shake from blood loss or exhaustion even if not from fear. they've just reached their limit, and no amount of willpower will change that!

whumpee is too weak to talk, but caretaker knows them well enough to interpret all their noises/gestures/expressions.

when whumpee twitches their fingers, caretaker knows that means they want their hand held.

when whumpee’s brow creases and they whimper, caretaker knows that means their head is hurting.

when whumpee soundlessly moves their lips, caretaker knows the’re saying i love you.

when whumpee gets restless and squirms a little, caretaker knows they want to adjust their position.

when whumpee curls towards caretaker, caretaker knows they want to be held.

when whumpee’s breathing gets thin and labored, caretaker knows to help them sit up so they can breathe easier.

when whumpee opens and closes their mouth, caretaker knows that means they’re thirsty.

and when whumpee squeezes caretaker’s hand, caretaker knows that means stay with me. please don’t go.

And later, that’s what would bother them the most — not the pain, not the helplessness, but the fact that they let whumper see them break.
