When Geralt gets a call from a social media influencer with more than a passing interest in the supernatural, he can't for the life of him see where it will lead. Saving Jaskier's life from the monster Geralt was hired to kill, the witcher finds himself tied to the young man for better or worse.
Despite Geralt's reluctance to let Jaskier into his life, the viscount fast becomes a part of Geralt's found family. He is insistent on helping the witcher in any way he can, determined to make Geralt's life better by changing society's prejudiced views of witchers. Geralt meanwhile is fighting his own doubts over his blossoming attraction to Jaskier. If he dares to let Jaskier into his life of danger will he only get the young man hurt?
But when both vampires and a wicked mage put Geralt's adopted daughter Ciri in danger, he must learn to let Jaskier into his heart, or risk losing everything.

The elves fight against the prejudices society has inflicted upon them, protesting against human rule in a quest for equality. Ever the selfless activist, Jaskier seeks to help the elves but becomes involved in activities that are more than a little criminal. Trying to help those in need, Jaskier finds himself hurt in ways that Geralt cannot bear. Seeking to protect his boyfriend the only way he knows how, Geralt makes a fateful decision. Until he learns to see the error of his ways and give Jaskier back his choice, the young viscount is vulnerable. Geralt can't protect him this time.

The third fic in the series - A Word's Worth - sees Jaskier lose his voice. He and Geralt are adjusting to their new monstrous identities and when Jaskier realises he could actually outlive Geralt he is driven to make a magical deal that will change everything.
The fourth fic - Not to be Reproduced - sees Geralt captured by vampires. Jaskier risks everything to save him but Geralt has been stricken by a deadly virus. Not only that, but the vampires are seeking to create a whole new type of monster. Geralt will have to recover if he's to face this mutant.
The fifth fic - More Than Destiny - sees Geralt struggling to protect Ciri as destiny comes calling. Can he defend his daughter and make sure his husband is safe too?
The sixth fic - What For to Yearn - sees Geralt and his family transported to a medieval world where Ciri is chased by the Wild Hunt. Geralt will have to deal with his own morals and choices as well as those of his husband, especially when Jaskier has his memory stolen.
The last fic in the series - Dandelions Grow Where Wolves Howl - is a collection of short stories exploring the challenges Jaskier and Geralt face in the aftermath of all they've done. Jaskier is at war with Valdo Marx, Geralt makes choices that almost get his husband killed, Jaskier is stricken by a painful curse, and an illusion threatens to break the husbands apart.
Chrysalism - Frustrated from lack of sleep, Geralt goes fishing for a djinn but finds a fairy in a bottle instead. At first an irritating pest, fairy Jaskier becomes more than a simple friend for the stoic witcher. But can Geralt accept what Jaskier offers?
