Cyrus takes a second to ponder what's been said to him... but can't really make heads or tails of it.

He goes about setting the teacups on their saucers alongside the spoons, and says, "You're the one here conducting this apparent interview, so if there is, you'll have to tell me. What is your name, by the way? I'm sure I've seen you before, but I can't place where."

"HELLOOOO there! Anyone home? I got a note of the itification variety to come here for one of my special addition interviews."

Cyrus is a bit befuddled by the appearance of this man - not because of his appearance, but because he seems... terribly familiar, and yet he can't place him.

"Special edition interviews? Well I don't know who sent you such a note, we don't do those here," he replies matter-of-factly, and moves to shut the door in his face.

Should he succeed in shutting the door in the man's face, not to worry - another person in the Office will soon surface to take his place for the interview.

Austin eye twitches, but his huge grin does not faulter. "Actually!" he barges in "Im the one giving the interviews. Valentines day special!" He then looks around to see if anybody is even there, not seeming to have cared if anyone heard him speak in the first place.

It was that holiday again? Cyrus had honestly forgotten it existed. And he can't imagine why someone wants to interview him for it.

There isn't anybody else in the control room other than Cyrus. But lucky for Austin, he's so used to the routine of making visitors tea that he goes ahead and does that anyway.

"Well. You'll be wasting your time, I'm afraid. There is nothing of interest about me you'll be wanting to know, particularly pertaining to Valentine's Day," he gripes as he gets the kettle started.

He stares for a moment then laughs. Not a cackle, not over the top or sarcastic, but a true chuckle. Its a little high pitched, a little shrill, but honest. "You-" he chuckles and shakes his head. "You know, I dont know. I've never been rejected before. How about I buy you a drink? Some spirits to lift your spirits." If it werent for everything about his character, it would almost seem as though he's trying to make amends. Perhaps repay you for the spark of genuine amusment

It's familiar, this is a familiar place, he missed it, he missed the people he cared about, he's seen nothing but blank places and the ocasional out of place thing. Nemesis is his only company, and he's become tired of them quite quickly. So seeing the area around him shift into a place he believes to recognize is a nice change of pace, the metallic shift of his joints and boots making gentle sounds against the ground, his jacket having a new patch onto it on the side with his last name, "HADEON"

Austin sat with a notebook in his hand and the end of a pen in his mouth, clearly deep in thought. He looked...younger? possibly? Like he'd de aged about 5, 10 years. The small streaks of grey were gone from his hair, and faint for head lines from his animated expressions were nowhere to be found. Other than that it seemed not a thing had changed about the man. He mumbled to himself with furrowed brows, and tapped his foot onto nothing as it was hiked up over the other one.

Jacob caught his voice for a moment before actually speaking, his voice sounding less human, more robotic than before, like he was using a voice box. "Aus- Austin?" He still find it odd to speak the name out loud, it's bad when someone you care about and someone you want dead share a name after all. "That you?" His voice weak, tired, but still awake.

Austin perked up, and smiled wide in recognition. It wasnt the usual smile he saved for jacob, it seemed more... made for tv. "Ah hello! Its nice to see you again, ah-" He suddenly hesitates "Juh...justin? No! jacob!! Yes jacob, hello!"

An immedeate feeling of something being, wrong, was deeply set within the guy's core, he could feel Nemesis warning him to be more careful. He still had his firearm on his hip, decorated with torn stickers and now having its own hip strap.

Despite his virtual gaze, it felt more human, more real. He gave a weak smile "It's been so long, where did you go? Perhaps you went nowhere and I've simply been stuck in nowhere so long.." His voice loosing power as he speaks, there was an unnatural vividness in his light, and there was red. His visor's display wasn't green, it was red.

He seemed to have taken a bit of distance from the other when usually, he probably would've just picked him up and hugged him. He's become wary, he's become paranoid, but scared? Not really.

Austin studied the man for a moment, silently taking him in. Plastic smile unwavering but brows furrowed. he then let out a small private sigh and shrug, and began to speak. "Ive been around, here and there, the usual!" he laughed insincerely. "Left the offices for a bit, not sure where exactly i went to, but im back now!" He let out a hearty chuckle, chest shaking. "How about you, old friend?"
