âAlright everyone, please hand in your permission slips.âÂ
Peter quickly passed his slip up to the front, the teacher checking each for signatures. The teacher looked to Peter. âMr. Parker, a word?â Flash raised an eyebrow at him as he went to the front, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his hoodie.
âYes Mrs. Van Dusen?â She flipped the slip over to show Peter the signature.
âI know it may seem funny, but having âTony Starkâ sign your document is no laughing matter. You know this needs to be signed by a real adult. You canât just forge any signature.â Peter huffed. He knew having Mr. Stark sign it was a bad idea, but he had been running late, Aunt May already at work. Tony was driving him that day and had offered to sign it.
âBut Mrs. Van Dusen, that is a real signature. I didnât fake anything!â Mrs. Van Dusen just raised an unimpressed eyebrow. She shook her head.
âUnless you can give me proof Mr. Parker, I am going to have to say that you canât go to the Stark Industries tour.â Peter looked up to the ceiling. He let out a grieved sigh. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts. âWhat are you doing, Mr. Parker?â
âYou wanted proof didnât you?â The teacher let out an impatient snort.Â
âMr. Parker-â Peter held up a finger and hit videocall. Tony showed up on the screen, sitting in his workshop and holding a screwdriver.
âHey Pete, whatâs up? Why are you calling during school?â The classroom went silent, everyone looking to the front of the room. Peter let out a smirk.
âHey Mr. Stark, sorry to bother you but my teacher doesnât believe that you signed my permission slip.â Tony laughed, turning to his project.Â
âWell, I think this is proof enough? I signed it teacher lady.â The teacher nodded. âAlright, bye Pete! And come over when you have the time. Iâm working on something that I think youâll find interesting.â Peter smiled.
