I wanna rp unfortunately I do not want to send an ask to someone new and don't wanna be annoying for my moots
This is a predicament
Drops this shitty wip and scatters
"Its dangerous to go alone, take this" meme but its echo
I'm imagining a language developed entirely within the universe of Minecraft. Like treating minecraft and its game mechanics as a world yknow. So there'd be no gendered pronouns, right? Because there is no biological sex within species, any two of the same mob can breed, all chickens lay eggs, there is no identifiable males or females in any way. I like to think that there would still be grammatical "gender" in the language, it'd just be based on a different wide grouping of characteristics that conveys important information. For example:
Grammatical genders of passive, neutral, and hostile. Like how they sort the mobs in-game. Cows, fish, villagers, all referred to with the passive pronoun. Zombies and stuff with hostile. Mobs like endermen and golems, you refer to with neutral by default, or if you're encountering a being you're not sure about the aggression levels of. Obviously, pigmen would have an entirely different language, being isolated in the nether, which would just make it more difficult to land on a pronoun for them, given their aggression levels vary so much. Like, what, you only refer to them with neutral pronouns if you're wearing gold? The cultural clashing there would be a lot.
And then, like languages in the real world that apply grammatical gender to EVERY noun, this categorization could be applied to objects as well. Fire is hostile. Trees are passive. You stub your toe on a block of cobble so you yell at the inanimate object with hostile pronouns, it attacked you! Refer to your friends with passive pronouns as a show of affection. Refer to yourself with hostile pronouns to convey you're gonna beat someone up. Options are limitless.
You say "it's psychosis." But I see roses...
Echo can open/close end portals btw since they use the teleport subsection of void magic and Echo is extremely talented in void magic
Oli struggles creating certain plants (especially larger/more complex ones) since they are a hybrid, meaning their magic isn't as strong but more diverse.
Myra never goes close to water. Not after her death. (The bandages are the weeds that she got tangled in causing her to drown).
Amu can create small supernovas. Since she was "born" on earth and not in the sky (Like all Stargazers are)
Derek has used Oli's arm (one has pale bark growing through it) during later winter/early spring on multiple occasions because they'd be in the middle of a field with no trees or other assisting materials for shedding his antlers
For reasons unknown neither Echo nor Noris can control the other (its because their powers collide enough that they don't effect the other as it's in their blood from evolution that made them immune/highly resistant to that manner of "possession")
Lyra has a favorite perch person. It's Pretzel/Preston. She would love to perch on Noris due to the demon having thicker skin and not feeling as guilty for it, but the demon is covered in spikes.

Just so everyone knows, I am holding Gigi and Revyrn so gently
I love my accidental parents nature ocs
I love Rev being a flirt with Gigi
I love Rev bring there for Gigi while she learns to walk again
I love them both being there for Oli as they grow up
I love them for making mistakes of ignorance
I love Gigi for being patient with Oli and even coming up with their own communication system for nonverbal days
I love them (and Oli)

Unrewarded Assistance
Echo refused to leave her home for several days. They laid curled under the blankets of her bed, trembling.
She was trying to help Oli with some social buisness but wasn't informed it would be outside.
In the sun.
For several hours.
She had lost her ability to properly see after just 45 minutes and gained a headache after two hours that stayed until that next morning.
Her body was severely sunburnt. Worse than some others who went with them.
They hurt. They still couldn't see too far away without a headache from the strain.
.....
Why were they so upset that nobody has gone to check on them?
They all have every right to hate them.
They all know she is a monster.
They all have seen what their kind has done to people. To innocent lives.
.....
They were so hungry.
They wanted to feed.
But to feed was to be a monster.
To feed was to be a killer.
To feed was to be what they feared.

Myra, trying to impress Echo: *Walks into their home covered in blood.*
Echo: Okay? Are you safe?
Myra: Y-yea I'm fine, just thought...
Echo: ...thought what?
Myra: ....you know..... that it'd turn you on?
Echo: Turn me on? How can one 'turn on' another?
Myra: ....Starshine I meant I want you to fuck me.
Echo: ....
Myra:
Echo: Oh- well- its- we don't have that uhm... attraction to blood... uh.. not vampires...
A character who can change forms with ease but can never escape the person they became
I present to everyone:
Cotton
Cotton is a spirit that had gotten lost and therefore wanders the overworld until they remember who they were in life.
The goat/sheep adjacent features are a clue to who they were (a sacrifice) but they haven't put that together yet
They are a silly goober and is close friends with Derek who is actively helping them find hints about their life (and failing)
Cotton isn't their actual name btw just was their first (and only) memory of life
Both Trish and Noris call the Puff
