I've been thinking that he makes Sorayne more aggressive and violent (overall just more agitated and bloodthirsty). (Also using some of his lines when closing Dark Anchors in ESO)

Now. Why has this been such a fun idea to entertain?

Ive mentioned before how I envisioned House Of Horrors going with Sorayne, Crow, Gabrielle and Khash as the party.

Bal makes the deal involving the Boethiah cultist with Sorayne. Sorayne, initially lied to him and said she would (she did not want to but wanted to get her and Gabrielle out of there asap)

Then I also mentioned how I saw sorayne slipping into old habits to try to get rid of her crush for Gabrielle. I mentioned (I think).there heing a confrontation about it as Gabrielle worried for Sorayne as she thought Sorayne was being reckless

With Bal still effecting her i see her being more cruel and hurtful with her words (and even possibly actions)

This is what I see being the turning point of what Sorayne intended to do about Bal and realizes there is no wau out unless she does what he asked of her.

Echo is a Voidborne Voidkin and has a specialty in void magic. Voidkin society doesnt have genders the way we do but the "genders" are those who are Voidborne (born from the death of a star) and Lightborne (born from the creation/life of a star) Voidborne are 9/10 to be magically gifted and tend to take care of the elders as they can kill people easier while Lightborne are gifted in flight and tend to take care of the young as they can gather the fruits easily. All Voidkin do have wings and magic but it is usually extremely weak and cannot sustain them for long. A birth defect caused Echo's wings to be too weak to even do the basic tasks other Voidborne can do. Many Lightborne abandoned her as they saw her as a weakness in the young. But an elder Voidborne took her in and demanded that the Lightborne treat her as any other Voidkin young. Echo was taught by this Elder and became skilled very quickly. Upon the Elder's death, Echo took up that role and assisted her kin when she could.

Cotton was born with the sole purpose of being sacrificed on her 16th birthday. However, the village that sacrificed her (and several before her) were not aware that souls often stuck around. Cotton woke up to the village in flames with no memory of her life prior. And no one saw her. At first. Some would look harder and see her briefly or feel the sensation of her presence. Cotton was curious and confused. She met Derek (a deer hybrid who enjoyed both history and the paranormal) and Derek explained (his theory) on why Cotton was still "alive". Cotton had gotten lost after death, with her soul splintering before it properly left her body, and ended up fated to wander until she learned her story.

Oli is a true nature spirit, where those who can effect the spread and growth of the forests and plains are usually separated by flora and fungi spirits, Oli gained the power of both, although much diluted. Their father was a fungi spirit named Revryn who was more practiced in the efficient part of fungus. And their mother was a flora spirit named Gigi who focused on the beauty of the trees and flowers. Oli can make smaller flowering plants and patches of moss and grass. They can help the growth of crops, but it tires them out quickly. Derek and Reena (A sheep) often go to them when they are all out travelling and there is no food sources for them.

guys its july 20th, the day humans first ever made it to the moon. its moon day. everyone wake up its moon day. the first time humankind set foot on a celestial being that wasn't earth was 55 years ago today. probably culturally significant i think. happy moon day everyone

So I made a moon landing cake…

Happy lunar landing day! I decided to spend some time baking and make a cake to celebrate! :)

It’s half vanilla and half chocolate cake with homemade buttercream and homemade wineberry jam in the middle- all the components I tasted along the way were delicious, so I’m looking forward to eating it tonight. (I’ll reblog this with more pictures later)

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
