Do you guys ever wonder if the Aquato family ever feel insecure about not having the ability to connect with their Grulovian heritage ?
Yes, the Aquato kids could easily connect with their Italian heritage from Donatella - which is nice! And I think there should be more artwork of that!! I'd love to see them connect with Donatella's culture !! (Please please please)
But Augustus remembers some of the Grulovian things - but will it ever be enough to fully remember what it means to be Gruvolian? Does he wonder if he can even call himself Grulovian - if he doesn't even fully remember their flowers, their seasons, their cultural dishes, the language, the smells.
Especially as we've seen Raz be awkward in saying he's part Gruvolian (aka the convo with the internal Gristol).
And with Lucrecia, who remembers it more clearly, that's great! But internal thoughts of, I'm not fully Grulovian, I don't remember what Grulovia was like - I can't call myself it, and etc. feeling even a deeper awkwardness about it, being close with somebody who remembers it so much better.

Aquatonauts AU stuff -- I have yet to actually post anything about this au. (Spoilers for PSYN 2 toward the bottom)

They're not officially together, and will never openly admit they're basically married, but it's painfully obvious, especially when Bobby calls Oleander 'Dad'.

- Caligosto had decent parents and grew up as Otto's student. He's been best friends with Oleander since they were 18, they're both 52 now
- The Deluge was 30 years ago in this timeline
- Augustus' parents were saved by Cal, and he grew up as Compton and Caligosto's student. He is now one of the heads of the Psychonauts, under Truman but above Hollis. The whole Aquato family lives in the Motherlobe, and always has-- they're very in tune with their psychic heritage.
- Bobby is a nerd and a mad scientist, grew up best friends with Raz and Lili.
This is Aurora Aquato, twin sister of Augustus Aquato. she’s also a psychic, her specialties in acrobatics are Lyra hoop, trapeze, tightrope, aerial silk, silk twirling, and hand-to-hand
