I was never that close to any of them… and the Slytherins I knew aren’t really in the habit of coming back to visit. On to bigger and better things, you know?

Y’know, part of me thinks it’s pretty sad how many Hogwarts grads still hang around the area. I know we’re awesome, but there’s a difference between going for someone younger and robbing the cradle.

I am seriously dreading the beginning of the school year prank. It gets worse and worse every year.

Why? It isn't usually that bad. I find them more entertaining.

Lorcan left the house at about 4pm with his sketchpad tucked under his elbow, the pencil tucked in the familiar place behind his ear. He wanted to go to the park a couple blocks away, escape his father who currently seemed to be in a very bad mood. He preferred to be around happy people, or at least not obviously unhappy people. So when he finally got there he glanced around for a moment and tried to decide what he was going to do, before grabbing instinctively onto a tree branch and pulling himself up.

It only took a minute or so before he was up on a branch and sitting on it with his back against the trunk. His head was tilted up to look through the tree's leaves, sighing happily. It was then that he pulled the pencil from behind his ear and flipped open to a free page in his sketchbook, starting to draw his view of the leaves from inside the tree. He added in an extra branch with a bird's nest immediately, the bird leaning over the nest but perched on the branch still. 

The blond boy shifted in the tree slightly, shaking the branch he was sitting on and unknowingly making several of the tree's nuts fall down, two of which hitting someone's head.
