[There wasn’t a single person in the school that she wanted to spend time with more than the boy that was now following her up the stairs. It was apparent by the sudden change in her mood when she saw him standing at the door.] With how much I spent for these clothes, I better - but, thanks. You don’t look so bad yourself. [She glanced back at him for a moment before leading the way into her room, looking him over as she bit her lip.] Your hair, it’s cute like that. [Courtney smirked, as she plopped down onto her bed and began spewing words immediately, telling Coulson about her day.] So, guess who already got ten points deducted from her house for yelling ‘twat’ in the hall? It’s bollocks - everyone knows I use it as a bloody term of endearment. [She rolled her eyes, running her fingers through her hair.] I mean, Emily answers to ‘slag’ now. [Getting one last point in, Courtney motioned for him to sit on the bed with her.] What about you? How was your day?
[Even though the two hadn't seen each other in some time, it felt like nothing had changed at all. And really, nothing had. It was apparent in the way that Courtney immediately began to speak animatedly about her day. He rolled his eyes affectionately at her reply, it was comforting to see Courtney so full of life and so herself.] Well it was money well spent then. But, uh, thank you. [His hand automatically ran through his hair, which he had cut but still left shaggy and for the most part unkempt. He blushed slightly at the many comments Courtney was giving him, which were always appreciated.] Thought it was due for a change. [He shrugged, trying to keep casual. It never really worked, since he was anything but casual around Courtney. He happily accepted her invitation, sitting beside her on the bed, so close that their shoulders were brushing.] I'm sure the professors aren't aware of your odd terms of endearment- considering twat isn't usually used as one. Or ever, really. [Listening to Courtney's stories always intrigued him- he couldn't remember a time when he didn't find her interesting, probably the most interesting person he knew.] Oh- my day was boring compared to yours, apparently. I actually only just left my dorm now. I was planning on staying there all day but- [he hesitated, wondering how she would react to his next statement, hoping it wouldn't make her uncomfortable.] I just really wanted to see you.
