My AU sticks mostly to the canon events from the musical, with several scenes that are altered, and some concepts from the movie.
A few things to know:
This AU is a darker take on the musical, as the mood is more inspired by the horror aspect of the movie. Themes of child abuse, suicide, sexual harrassment, mental illness, body horror, and violence will be depicted. All graphic content is tagged for blacklisting purposes
Lydia Deetz is portrayed as sixteen years old and her relationship with Betelgeuse will not be romantic in nature in the AU's canon. However, there will be the typical attempt at coercing Lydia into marriage
Every character is black because I'm black and I said so
