I started working on a tma animated video/pmv thing to Ship in a Bottle (by Steffan Argus) a while back that i am extremely unlikely to ever finish, but I still liked some of the frames so I cut em up and mashed em together a bit and now it’s a lyric comic woohoo

Okay since I’m apparently learning about myself today (I happy stim!! I didn’t know that’s what it was!!!!)

I think I saw something the other day (or today? what is a “day” anymore) about “sensory processing disorder”

So I’ve heard of audio processing issues but sensory was new to me but then I realized 

I CANNOT TOUCH CERTAIN THINGS. Like my BFF who does fiber work sometimes wants me to feel things and she has to be careful about what she offers me because some textures of certain yarns/fabrics DRIVE ME CRAZY. I cannot STAND when people run their open hands or fingertips over rough textures (carpet, brick, stuff like that) and sometimes if like…one of my fingers bumps something I have to go back and touch it with the rest of my fingers or things are “uneven” (I don’t know if that’s part of it though because I have the same issue when I’m walking on like…patterned tiles? I have to have each foot touch the right color tile the right number of times. Or like if I’m stepping over cracks in the sidewalk I’ll alter my gait so that one foot doesn’t step over too many of them without the other foot stepping over some because if it’s uneven it bugs me and I start to “feel” a phantom sensation of “too many steps!” on the back of my heel/leg) 

…ok rereading that I’m starting to think maybe I’m just really weird ><

Wait I do the step thing too, and the feeling of ‘unevenness’ thing what with the fingertips and such. I’m less bothered by textures specificially, but unevenness? No thank you very much.

Omg I do the uneven thing too (only a bit differently?) And also when I'm cycling, when one foot is at its lowest point and there's a stripe on the path, the other foot has to do the same to 'touch' the stripes. And I have never in my life had someone understand what the hell I was doing if I stepped weirdly or touched their shoulder again, but with the other hand.
